[D-Tap Male] It works well. I needed a cable that would stay in, so I first ordered a locking barrel connector cable, not knowing that my device had no complementary locking mechanism; I ended up returning it. I then found this cable, and its lack of locking mechanism made me concerned that the connector would come loose, but so far it has held quite well, and the length is perfect. I can now power my external monitor from the same battery that powers my camera. 5
