Love both, this is cheaper, a little thicker but the feeling is s little bit more plastic than paper. The canon has a fantastic velvet feeling. Most of my clients wont notice the difference so I will use both depend on the final user. This is great for indoors, where coffee splashes or sticky fingers are around, but also to frame art. I use it also if I'm shipping on a tube, because it doesn't keep the curvature, it goes flat the second you take it off the tuve. Great Paper.

[12 VDC at 2 A] This is a must have product. It's small, easy to use, and provides quick concise answers to cable problems. I use this to check out my cables before packing up to do an audio or video project, plus I take it with me. I can jiggle the connections as I test to see whether the male or the female connector is bad and see exactly which pin is at fault. Recently on a large production, we had several hundred yards of SDI and XLR cables going from a switcher to multiple cameras for a live event. During the setup we tested all the cables and replaced a handful of cables that had issues. Had we not had this tester, we would have spent a lot of time switching out cables, cameras and wondering if the switcher had issues. The only issue I had with the tester was the battery compartment. The holder for the 9V battery was loose when I got it. It was easily fixed with a few drops of hot glue.

[12 VDC at 2 A] We are going to switch to this from HP everyday matte , we did a water test and as advertised no runs. HP everyday matte recently changed it's formula and it smears.. the Premier Imaging Adhesive appears to live up to everything they say.

This cable tester forms an integral part of my problem solving process. Also handy to figure out pin configuration on balanced to unbalanced XLR cables. I also use this cable tester to check cabling after every rental. It shows cable continuity and short-circuits in cables, as well as correct pin configuration.
