A: No, the interior of, this Orca case is too small for the boompole and will not fit. You will need to use a case with a longer internal length such as the Alfa Case 47-55" Lockable BoomTube (B&H # AL10055BTLB) or Ambient Recording BC130 Boom Case for QX 5130 Boompole (B&H # AMBC130).

[Latch] There are a LOT of bits and pieces to my RS 2 and ring grip rig. Previous to getting this case I was often hunting for parts that got spread out among camera bags and other places. No more! This case is well designed for storing everything I currently have, with room to add accessories later. The build quality is fairly good, but know that is it not what I consider heavy duty Regardless, it will last if not abused. All pockets have elastic to help things stay in them. Unlike many equipment cases, there is amble room to move items in and out of the case. I can't confirm it, but presume that it can accommodate other gimbals, but the width of other ring grips may not align with the pockets designed to hold them in place. I got this on sale, but would recommend it to anyone with a gimbal and ring grip at full retail price. Just buy it already... 5

[Universal] This case is perfect for storing your wireless mics if you need to be mobile. Elastic straps for charging cords, two internal pockets to carry mic covers or whatever needs to be kept safe. All encased in a hard cover box. Very nice indeed. 5

[Latch] I got a new power bank for Christmas and all it came with was a cloth carrier bag. I wanted a hard case for the bank and its accessories. A search of the shopping giant turned up nothing I could use so I turned to my favorite toy store, B&H and found one right away. The bank and its accessories fit snugly and the whole thing goes in the storage compartment in my car. 5

[Black] I have the basic Tilta ring grip with the DJI RS 2 and I had been contemplating a few different ways to transport it safely - until this case was released. Although I was hoping to leave the ring assembled, the smaller size trade-off was worth it and the grip assembles somewhat quickly. It holds the gimbal, ring grip and quite a few accessories with a little room to spare. Love the tight pockets for batteries and various gimbal parts, and that I can get everything in a single case. It also fits inside my Nanuk 960 hardcase if I need to fly to a location and need the extra protection. For the price, this was exactly what I was looking for and will make packing and traveling to location shoots much easier, not to mention storing when not in use. 5
