Q: 1. What is the diameter of the face? 16 ? I wish the specs for Profoto listings were more informative -- looking for actual dimensions so I can choose mods that fit in my travel case (I know this Magnum won't fit in my pelican, but just a general compaint ;)

A: The face diameter is 13.5 inches and is 10.5 inches high.

Q: 2. What is the difference between the Impact translucent type and the regular circular reflector disc?

A: Translucent lets light through so I would use it in hash sunlight to soften shadows etc. A normal reflector is to reflect light onto a subject

A: The Profoto Honeycomb Grid, 10 Degrees, for Magnum & Narrow Beam Reflectors B&H # PRGMR is the only grid type that is compatible with this reflector.

A: Yes. The cover is black and silver. If you invert it, you then have gold and white.

Q: 5. What's the folded size?

A: About 13 .

Q: 6. The Specs section does not mention Black. All the pictures have Black. Which is correct?

A: The black it there as one of the sides of the cover

Q: 7. Does the gold on the gold reflector flake old as i've seen on other brand; and, is it a strong color of gold such as to give photos a gold color cast rather than warm golden hour presence?

A: The Profoto reflectors are very well built. Depending on how you store them they might at some point fail with age and use. The color is a warm and pleasing tone.

Q: 8. how to fold reflector?

A: Check this out: Search in youtube for YjlsP9KDjcs or ( How to fold a reflector ). hold on diagonal edges and compress and twist and so that one of the folds collapses inside . I have this and its easy. In few days you become comfortable in collapsing this.

A: Works well as intended.

A: No, the stand adaptor is not included.

[1.65 lb] Forget the other brands of reflectors and go straight to Profoto. Heavy duty, holds it's shape and is a great size. The handles really help in pointing it. You can hand this to a complete novice and be good to go. 5

[Gold, White] Loving this Profoto Reflector I have used it on several shoots and it's so great and so easy to hold with the hang grips! The quality of light this Reflector gives is just Wow ...... I need to buy more and in different sizes so if your looking at this and your questioning if it's worth it ..... let me tell you it's so worth it make shooting in natural light so much better!!! Profoto makes amazing products and these Reflector are no exception..... These feel like they will last a lifetime. 5

[Gold, White] This reflector is built great. Easy to 'open' and 'close'. The two handles make holding it super easy. Also, the reflection is fantastic - whether held close or further away, you're able to fine tune any 'fill'. 5

[1.65 lb] The frame is rigid, and handle let you hold in place easy. Don't know how long it will last, but usually silver part start to disintegrate. I may buy bigger unit also. 5

[1.65 lb] I was considering different rigid options for diffusion when I remembered I have the white/silver version of this which I have rigged on a c-stand, so I gave this a try. Need to do a quick product shot of an object with a glossy/shiny surface? Just shoot a light with a grid through this to get easy gradient highlights! 5
