The 47" translucent Collapsible Reflector from Profoto provides the ability to diffuse and spread light whether it be natural sunlight, studio light or flash. A: The Profoto reflectors are very well built. Depending on how you store them they might at some point fail with age and use. The color is a warm and pleasing tone.

Q: 2. Will this fit on the b10 ???

A: This reflector is compatible with most Profoto flash heads including the B10 and B10 Plus.

Q: 3. On the black & white versions, is the black and white side completely opaque and is the white a pure white, unaffected by the black behind it?

A: The white is unaffected by the black. The white is a solid piece of fabric that is very reflective.

A: The interior diameter is 7 3/16 in. A Profoto grid that fits inside is about 7 1/8 in diameter ( a little less). As for the weight, it's less than a pound ( approx. .6 pounds). It's very light. Some else give you the 7.6 in dia. which is the outside dim.

A: The Impact Collapsible Background/Diffuser (Translucent, 5 x 7') blocks about 1.5 stops of light.

A: This product would reduce the light by one full stop.

A: Check this out: Search in youtube for YjlsP9KDjcs or ( How to fold a reflector ). hold on diagonal edges and compress and twist and so that one of the folds collapses inside . I have this and its easy. In few days you become comfortable in collapsing this.

A: This product would reduce the light by 1 full stop.

Q: 10. Will this fit Profoto B10? The specs say the shaft is 8 mm (same as Westcott umbrella -- which does NOT fit). B10 requires a 7mm shaft. So... does this Profoto umbrella fit the Profoto B10 strobe?

A: Yes, the Profoto Shallow Translucent Umbrella (Medium, 41") will fit int the B10's umbrella port.

[Rounded Square] I've been using a 5-in-1 reflector and wanted something a bit larger, with just the white/silver combo, which I tend to use most often. I like having both sides ready, no more unzipping to get the one I want. This is a good size for holding, and the thick handles make it easy to grip. No issues with re-folding, it's easy to maneuver and use, and the quality seems durable as well. 5

[Diffusion] in the past I had always used Westcott but thought I would try the Impact.� This reflector is great, has more than enough to literally dazzle and blind� but easily controlled. folds really easily and is surprisingly compact for its size. the gold really softened and warmed a persons face and i will use more of this brand 5

[19 x 19 x 1"] I own this model as well as the 32. For me, this 42 is just right size when opened. I use this mostly to diffuse or block light from windows or overhead lights when I am doing food photography on location at restaurants. The 32 is a little too small when opened to do what I need, though that model when closed fits into a backpack whereas the 42 does not. The handles are very helpful for handing it to an assistant without getting the material dirty. Overall I really like this one. 5

[19 x 19 x 1"] Impact makes a variety of different tools for photographers and filmographers alike, so they're always a sure bet if you need something (like I did when I bought this reflector). It feels sturdy for what it is (essentially bound wire, fabric, and some handles), and I like that it came with a small bag to stow it away in. 5

[Diffusion] This is a really cool product. The black, silver, white, and gold covers are in a sheet that zips onto the reflector. Its an ingenious design, and a good price for this product. 5

[Rounded Square] I bought this item to replace a similar one purchased from another brand, but which did not include handles. It was also about 1/3 the price. I haven’t owned either of them for long enough to speak to it, but I suspect the difference there may be durability. Only time will tell, but so far, so good. 5
