[11.8" (30 cm)] The PocketWizard MiniPhone Adapter works perfectly with older flashes that have a PC sync cable connection. Instead of relying on an optical slave and direct line of sight to fire the flash, the adapter allows you to use a PocketWizard to trigger the flash from areas that the optical slave will not work. I use two of them (adapters) on old Vivitar flashes and they get the job done very nicely. 5
