A: We have not heard of any issues, but we highly suggest when purchasing the Godox Litemons LA200Bi Bi-Color LED Light to do so from an authorized dealer to insure that you have some sort of buyer's protection.

Q: 5. Will they retain settings (brightness and color) if turned off and on again?

A: Yes it will retain the settings from when it was turned off.

Q: 6. I plan to position the light at a distance that will make it impractical to control it using the dials/switches on the back of the light. It would be ideal for me if the light could be controlled fully, including turning it on/off, using the app. Is that possible?

[2800 to 6500K] I'm very pleased with this light. I'm using it for video, so I was a little concerned about having a light with a fan, but it's so quiet that it's not a factor. The light quality is great and the adjustability is excellent. 5

[Yes] This is a fantastically powerful little light for a great price, at least when I bought it on DealZone. It has great effects including storm and fire/candle. And CCT variable from 2300 to 6500. My only drawback is that the controls are on the back of the light, not an in-line module, and the only remote is through bluetooth with a phone so when it is raised up high, it can't be controlled except by bluetooth. 5

[190 W ] Picked up this light to use as an extra light for video shoots. The ability of it to be so portable (and the functionality of the little light) led me to buy 2 more. Can't say anything about long term usage but am extremely happy with this purchase. 5

[Bowens S] note - A stand and powersupply are things i would recommend picking up with this product The light was an impulse buy. I have used some of godox's smaller lights in the past and figured for the price i would give it a shot. I was very surprised by the output of the light. Color temp has the range I was looking for. I use this light to help with visuals during all the video conferences and meetings we are all dealing with in this day and age. a solid 5 out of 5. 5

[7.435 lb] Well made, great bargain. Only reason not to get it is, if you want to run the light off of battery power. This does not have that option. 5

[2800 to 6500K] The quality is great. The light is uniform across the screen and is variable in color and intensity. They are great for fill light, back light, or as a flash/softbox replacement for portraits. 5
