The Trijicon 3x24 Compact ACOG Riflescope, Red Horseshoe Dotis a fixed magnification scope with an illuminated reticle pattern for use in any lighting conditions. Dual illumination provides two sources of battery-free illumination, fiber optics and tritium. The fiber optics use ambient light to automatically adjust the brightness level and contrast of the reticle to available light conditions. The tritium-phosphor lamp glows in low-light conditions. The ACOG body is designed to be extremely rugged and reliable. The forged 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy housing provides for a nearly indestructible sighting system. No other magnified optic has been used more in combat than the Trijicon ACOG. Mounting bosses are integrated into the housing (near the eyepiece) to allow the easy addition of a Trijicon RMR with the RM54 mount, both optional. No tools are needed for windage and elevation adjustments because the ACOG features external adjusters. All adjuster caps are provided with a lanyard assembly to minimize the loss of caps.

The Trijicon Q-LOC mount features a Mil-Spec drop test rated 6061-T6 aluminum design, with an easy-to-use, one-handed tool-less mounting system. The spring-loaded design allows for constant retention and maintaining of zero even if the knobs are not tightened. The mount boasts a low weight and low profile design with superior return to zero performance and is compatible with any Mil-Spec or NATO Picatinny rail.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this be used on a canon t3?

A: Yes

Q: 2. (1) does the front of the hood have filter threads so I can attach filters without removing the hood?(2) if so, does the filter thread also have a 62mm size?

A: This hood does not have front threads and attaching a filter to the end of a lens hood is generally not recommended as you run the risk of any blemishes on either side of the filter coming or approaching being in focus.

Q: 3. hi, is this adapter works auto metering for Sony a7 when use a M mount voigtlander 35 1.4 lens? if not which adapter you recommended? thanksSteven

A: The Dot Line NEX Adapter for Leica M Bayonet Lenses Adapter does not provide electronic communication between the camera and the lens--works with manual focus and exposure. In order to have auto-meter functions, you would need this adapter:http://bhpho.to/1mbVh9m

Q: 4. is this metal?

A: No.

Q: 5. Will the lens cap fit on properly when using this lens hood?

A: My Canon lens cap works just fine. I bought this hood because it allow me to easily adjusts (rotate) my CPL filtere.

Q: 6. What are the dimensions? (ie. outer diameter, as well as depth from back to front)

A: Dot Line states that the outer diameter of the Dot Line Tele-Wide 77mm Lens Hoods at the widest point is 4-1/8 inches, and the depth of the hood when extended is 2-5/16 inches tall.

Q: 7. I'd like to use this for a compact camera. What size (weight and dimensions) compact camera can it be used for? Not having a smartphone, would the only way to trip the shutter be using the self-timer?

A: I would say the load limit of this pole to be about 1.5 lbs so only point and shoot cameras should be used. That means no DSLR's. You are correct, the only way to trip the shutter is by self timer.I would suggest considering this other pole. It is made of metal where it counts. I would have much more peace of mind with this pole.XSORIES U-Shot Aluminum Extension Pole (Black) B&H # XSUSHM101375

Q: 8. at 16mm, will this lens hood cause vignetting using the Canon E series 16-50 mm lens and a step up ring?

A: Since the 16-50mm Sony E mount lens is equivalent to 24mm in full frame/35mm terms, you should not experience vignette when using this lens hood.

Q: 9. Has anyone tested this with a full frame 24mm lens to see if it vignettes in the corners? Or specifically on the Nikon Z 24-70mm f4 S lens?

A: this hood is collapsible and you shouldn't have vignetting at all

Q: 10. Is this hood good for taking photos through windows at an angle and blocks reflections?

A: A lens hood can help reduce reflections when placing the lens against or near a window but the better option for shooting through a window would be a lens skirt such as this: https://bhpho.to/3ShEeau

[10 mm] I put over a 1,000 rounds with this scope in three days and couldn't ask for a more accurate scope. The clarity is great, the illumination works really well for my old eyes, and reticle is accurate for .300 BO. Even the wife and daughter were hitting bullseyes. The only thing I changed was the mount to a Midwest Industries QD mount. I'd buy it again and probably will.

[Aluminum] Beautiful optic, durable and has an outstanding reputation. I am so glad I bought this setup. Amazing optical clarity and quality. The eye relief is pretty short, but the acog weighs less than the lpvo it replaces. I am a huge fan of the simplistic nature of the acog, gotta keep it Barney style for us Marines. The green chevron is where it’s at in my opinion. B&H as always great customer service and communication, awesome prices, and super fast shipping. Thank you very much B&H.

[10 mm] Received the optic earlier than the forecasted available date. BH delivered the item within 2 days and the product arrived with no issues. As for the ACOG and rmr combo, the ACOG has excellent glass and I truly enjoyed zeroing the red cross hair. (Downloaded The PDF manuals on trijicons website). The only part I disliked about the combo was the position of the RMR, because to zero the RMR on top of the ACOG I would have to change my sight alignment and lift my head up to see the RMR. Do to the current Unavailability of offset mounts, I was not able to purchase one prior to zeroing the ACOG. Regardless, the combo is great and once an offset mount is available, I will test and zero the RMR.

[24 mm] This was my first purchase with B&H. The entire sales process was fantastic. I was looking for a very hard to find Trijicon ACOG with the Red Chevron M193 Reticle. The price was very competitive. The product shipped to me on time as promised. B&H followed with me during the whole process. I will definitely buy from B&H again. I would also purchase a Trijicon ACOG again. I am very Happy!

[3x] I recently purchased a Trijicon 4x32 ACOG, and I am thrilled. The clarity, and ease of use of this optic has quickly led to it becoming one of my favorite sights. Trijicon has certainly lived up to it's reputation,
and B&H sent me exactly what I ordered.
