A: I have the three pack and use them a bunch! I've never used the tap included. I just use gaff tape. The tape they include is single use only, but the three pack basically means you can use three all at once, rather than using them only three times. The silicone is very sturdy and flexible. It holds up well!

A: This foam will work well with the 4053b

Q: 10. Will this fit a Clippy EM172? Mic dimensions are 11.8x25mm.

A: This furry windscreen is made for lavalier microphones, up to 4.5mm X 15mm, so it would not accommodate the Chippy EM172, which we do not currently carry. I would recommend contacting Rycote for the specific furry windscreen for that mic.

[0.04 lb] The Giant Squid lavalier microphones are very good inexpensive mics. However, a big however, they come with one teenie tiny windscreen that easily falls off. The very first time I used a GS outdoors, my talent lost the screen in the grass and I ran all over town looking for a replacement to no avail. Incredibly, Giant Squid does not have replacements. But they did recommend Amazon's Tetra-Teknica MNWSDP Mini-size Lapel Microphone Windscreen. So now I have a dozen of them in the drawer that do NOT fit the GS because the hole is too small and is not stretchable. The WLF-038-3 Foam Windscreens for 3/8 Diameter Microphones (3 Pack) from B&H to the rescue!! They actually fit the GS mic, but are considerably longer than they need to be; and are easily trimmed with a scissors. They are sorta thickish windscreens and might not be able to always be used underneath clothing without being seen. However, I haven't found that to be a problem yet. I bought a 3 Pack to test them and will definitely be buying more. 5

[0.04 lb] Like a pilot's mouthpiece. stops wind and breath effectively. No complaints. For those who can't envision what size 3/8 is, it's huge, grab a ruler. See if it works for your needs. You won't be hiding this in plain sight. 5

[0.04 lb] I use this windscreens for my Shure Beta 54 and AKG C520 headworn microphones. The quality of foam is great. This windscreen helped me to eliminate vocal pops that I had with my new Shure Beta 54 microphone. The only cons is that a hole on the foam is too small, so I had a problem putting the windscreen on the microphone because it's very tight. Other than that, it is great product. 5
