But that wouldn't be fair. But who needs on/off switches on a hub? That's just asking for trouble with devices that need to unmounted/ejected. This unpowered hub is perfect for the three hard drives and self-powered scanner that are connected to it. Backups have been proceeding reliably. In other words, it's a hub, doing what a hub does :) 5

This USB 3.0 hob is great when you need extra ports. Yes, too many electronics need these power sources today. This Sabrient 4-Port Hub fits the bill for me. 5

I'm using this with a HP ZBook laptop and so far, I'm lovin' it over the failed hub I replaced with this. The individual port power switches allow me to individually control what device is active - e.g., powering off/disconnecting the separate webcam and Yeti microphones when not in use is convenient. Plus, it's budget-friendly and the data transfer rate is more than adequate for my needs. 5

Add more USB ports. Data transfer is faster then expected when connected to this Hub providing its connected to 3.0 port on PC or laptop. Again; small footprint. Fits in your pocket easily. It's much smaller then a smart phone. 5

The hub works great for me, since I often have more than 2 USB devices to plug into my laptop. Its cord is plenty long enough, all the ports work, and it fit the budget. Would get again if I had another computer that needed it. 5
