Made of lightweight aluminum with a diameter of 2.3", the Kupo Round Plate 3/8"-16 Female Threadcan be used on anything with a 3/8"-16 male threaded screw. The diameter of the round plate is 2.3" and features three set screws that allow you to tighten up the object and keep it from rotating.

A: There is no weight rating available from the manufacturer for the Kupo Sidearm with Baby Pin/Receiver. The strenght of the stand, the exact placement of the offset arm on the riser, as well as counterbalancing the offset load will all ultimately determine how much weight the offset arm can support.

[3/8"-16 Female] Using this for suspending / mounting a Genaray Radiance Ballast off the floor, mounted directly on light stand without modifying anything on the ballast. Added a super strong 3M gum type clear removable adhesive in combination with a phottix battery mount. Bought this item for being LARGE. The larger the surface, the stronger the bond is. Removing it off the ballast is extremely easy. Player, turn it bad it’s off. Not a trace of residue. If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t use this item for this purpose. My ballast is secure, tested and it works. You also need Velcro to hold the ballast up and bottom, plus adding a rubber foot so the entire weight of the ballast sits on that. 5

[0.15 lb] I bought seven of these over the course of spring 2022. Five of them came exactly as pictured, while two were machined to a slightly narrower diameter at the base (the diameter of the ring with the knurled grip on it). Also, the narrower units had little to no bevel where the 3/8 female threads meet the flat bottom face of the item. In comparison, the 5x units matching the picture have a significant bevel, as you can see for yourself in the photo. Finally, all my units came with a plastic cap that threads onto the 1/4 tip. I'm providing this info in case it helps someone in the future, as these variations could mean the difference between a good fit and a bad fit in certain applications. Altogether, I'm completely satisfied with the 7x units I purchased. 5

[Aluminum] Great platform for small ball heads and other gear. Excellent machining and flat parallel faces with satin finish. Knurled edge provides excellent purchase, but two holes are provided for additional leverage. They are about .625in deep and will accept a pin (nail, allen key, etc.) with a diameter about 0.14in. Disc height (thickness) is 6mm. 5

[3/8"-16 Female] I paired three of these with a Manfrotto 154 triple microphone holder/bar, to attach 3/8 threaded microphone clips (Rycote brand). They are much more compact than the studs that come with the 154 and the thread is nice and long. The actual machining/construction itself appears very high quality. Overall it gives a much cleaner looking setup with a mic clip installed. 5
