Use the Kupo 2" Coupler Camera Mount Plateto mount and attach a camera or rig onto a 2" pipe truss and accomplish overhead cinematography with ease. The attached camera mounting plate has six 3/8"-16 holes spaced an inch apart for the incorporation of an industry-standard cheese plate. An aluminum alloy construction creates a durable but lightweight device.

Q: 1. Can the 1/4" thread be replaced with a 3/8" thread? I prefer to not use an adapter.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a super grip finger option that has a built-in 3/8"-16 male screw. As an alternative, I would recommend purchasing the Impact Heavy-Duty Swivel Pin, B&H # IMSRP118, and the Kupo Baby Ball Head Adapter, B&H # KUKG014212, as an alternative for your usage needs.

Q: 2. Would two of these be secure enough to hold a slider on stands? Thinking they might allow different stand heights, for slider to be inclined. Regular Kupo ball head adapters would need to both be level. Not sure if these would cause instability or want to flop over to one side or other because of weight.

Q: 4. Your listing says the minimum jaw diameter is 1.9". Is that true? Is it not compatible with 1-1/4" (1.66" OD) aluminum pipe?

A: The Kupo Slim Type Half-Coupler with 5/8" Baby Stud will fit tubes 48-51mm (1.88-2.0") in diameter.

Q: 5. Do these swivel so one can clamp horizontal and one vertical?

A: The two superclamps have a fixed position.

Q: 6. What is the max diameter this clamp can open to? I would like to use this with a 2 diameter pipe. Thank you.

A: The clamp's range is 5 to 51mm.

Q: 7. Are the holes threaded?

A: The Kupo Rectangular Cheese Plate (7.5 x 10") will have 3/8", Every 1" / 2.5 cm and 4 x 82° Countersink Holes in Corners.

A: both rotary moving tighteners (if that's what you mean by knobs ) are indeed metal. They are, as I read another response, built like a tankoutstanding product.

[Aluminum Alloy] This plate and stud feel very strong, though I haven't yet put a huge load on it. The metal is thick and doesn't feel like "Chinesium." Finish looks great too. I've used this to make a mount for some Quasar Science T8 bulbs. 5

[2.19 lb] I purchased 4 of the baby stud half-couplers for our studio. The couplers are well built, simple to hang and the compact size lets them fit in tight spots. The 12 box truss we use has some restrictions on hanging locations because of the number of cross wielded struts. The half-size coupler makes it possible to hang in locations that full-size couplers will not fit. 5

[2.19 lb] A great piece for an AC monitor/cage kit with a QR, for a follow focus fiz unit (it allows full movement for ergonomics most AC's miss out on!) and of course for any other rigging where micro adjustment AND solid strength of rigging is required. 5

[2.19 lb] I bought and use this in a custom application for a full length c-stand riser in a grip cart and it works extremely well. I had a custom built piece on a older cart, but this one is much more presentable. Just hope it doesn't rust 5

[Aluminum Alloy] Very strong and well built, I've found I can put a stream deck on the plate side with some extra magnets and the spigot end into a Impact Rapid Baby to 3/8 and a solution9 arm and mount on desks etc, great unit 5

[2.19 lb] This plate is a great adapter for a PTZ camera to a light stand and even better when paired with the KUPO Low and Mighty stand. It will allow you to mount to a baby pin or in a junior receiver. The only thing I wish it had is a bubble level. 5

[2.19 lb] I used this to make a Courtesy Table. You take a short C-Stand like a Gary Coleman, a Pancake Apple Box, and a Baby Receiver Wall Plate and put them all together to make a Courtesy Table. If I was a Grip, the first thing I would do is make a Courtesy Table for the Director and put it next to his chair; I would bet that you would be hired again! 5
