A: It will hold your camera with lens, however it may be a bit cumbersome, and sadly you do have to use Peak Designs' plate for it to actually click into the capture system properly.

A: Yes, the Peak Design Clip for Capture v3 (Black) can support either of those configurations when firmly clamped to the shoulder strap of a Lowepro Flipside Trek Backpack. This will support the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera with either the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens or the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens mounted.

A: You cannot connect just any Arca-Type Compatible plate to the Peak Design Clip for Capture v3 (Black). However, the included Peak Design Standard Quick Release Plate is Arca-Type Compatible and will mount on an Arca-Type Compatible tripod head and the clip.

A: This system is only meant to be used with the Peak Design plates. A long plate would not fit properly in this system.
