Expand your business's wireless network connectivity with the Cisco Meraki MR46 802.11ax 4 x 4 MU-MIMO Dual-Band Access Point. This indoor access point features a high-powered internal antenna that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 4 x 4 MU-MIMO, delivering up to 3.5 Gb/s of total speed over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal frequencies for fast and reliable data connections with compatible devices. It connects to your compatible router or switch through its built-in 2.5G Ethernet port and operates using up to 30W of power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Alternatively, you can power the device by using a separate DC adapter to plug it into a wall outlet. With its plug-and-play design, the MR46 can be mounted onto a desktop, wall, or ceiling with the included hardware and operates without requiring additional hardware. The access automatically connects to the Meraki cloud service to download configuration information and updates. The wireless signal is secured with WEP and enterprise class WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption.

The MR46 features a high-powered internal antenna that supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi to deliver up to 1147 Mb/s speeds through the 2.4 GHz frequency signal and 2402 Mb/s over the 5 GHz signal for a combined speed of 3.5 Gb/s with compatible devices. Technologies such as beamforming and enhanced receive help to maintain reliable high-performance wireless connections.

With 4 x 4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies, the access point can efficiently communicate with multiple devices simultaneously.

A dedicated dual-band scanning and security radio continually scans the environment for RF interference and potential wireless threats in real-time. [Yes] I live in apartments and there is around like 30 to 50 others AT&T wireless routers. With cheaper ubiquity models I always had like 25 of 50 Megabits/sec top. With that one I always have stable 50 no matter what. Feels like I'm using an ethernet. 5

[Access Point] Ive used the following Unifi APs: * UAP-AC-LR * UAP-AC-Lite * UAP-AC-Pro * UAP-AC-NanoHD They each fit their own role incredibly well and the answer for which of those APs is best completely depends on the deployment. Best for mobile devices or covering large indoor areas with as few APs as possible? LR Best bang for buck all around AP? LR Best cheap AC WiFi? Lite Best for higher user count per AP or dusty / wet environments? Pro And now we have the NanoHD which easily takes the cake for the question, Whats the best AP I can get for the money that will give me the best 5Ghz performance? NanoHD!! This AP maxes out the 250Mbps symmetrical internet connection at the site I deployed it at even through two drywall layers. Within same room it easily holds 850Mbps on multiple devices at once. I was most impressed by how much better 5Ghz range this WAP has than any other 5Ghz AP Ive ever used. Ill still steer people to the AC-LR for general purpose use but if you need performant connections at reasonable distances this is the hands down winner. The fact that its Wave2 capable means a very good long term value proposition as more devices get that capability. 5

[Internal] Easy to setup Access Points in a Unifi environment. Impressed with the small size and performance they’re capable of. Range is impressive for our house and gives us great coverage outside as well. Paired with a unifi controller, they are smart enough to check available channels and move to less congested ones. The ability to combine 2.4 and 5GHz networks as one name is great! We have also used the guest network feature to help our neighbors out until they’re able to get internet hooked up at their house (new construction). 5

[Access Point] I have been using UniFi for many years - I have to find a system that works as well, doesn't required frequent reboots and doesn't require a license to setup or use. The management web interface is excellent. 5

[30 W] I bought 4 of these to replace my AC Pros. Though the AC Pros work great, we still experienced a lot of slow speeds around my home, and as I learned it was likely due to the nature of the AC Pro handling one connection at a time. The nanoHD solves that problem with its Wave 2 tech and MUMO capability. I did discover though, that the range on the nanoHD is a lot less than the AC Pro. I thought originally given the price and newer tech it would be an upgrade over AC Pro and I would only need one or two, but the range is very short on these, so while it does handle multiple devices much much better, I had to add 4, and possibly 1 or 2 more soon, to cover my house better. Keep in mind that while the nanoHD may put out a good enough signal to cover a decent area, your devices may not be powerful enough to respond in kind, and thus the nanoHD may not establish a connection with them as well as the AC Pros do. So a couple more of these for coverage may be necessary, but the speeds and reliability is top notch and worth it. 5
