The Single-Port USB 2.0 Ranger Extender System (328')allows you to extend connectivity up to 328' over a single Cat 5e, 6, or 7 cable. This USB 2.0 extender with flexible power provides installers the choice of supplying power at either the transmitter or receiver for convenient deployment. The Ranger 2311 is plug and play with no software drivers required, and it works with all major operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Additionally, this ExtremeUSB-based extension system is ideal for use with all USB peripherals including keyboards, mice, interactive whiteboards, flash drives, hard drives, audio devices, web cameras, and other USB 2.0 or 1.1 devices.

[1.555 lb] Worked really well to run hdmi to front of church through the attic. HDMI output on transmitter also let us split to a second monitor in back of church. Didn't use the infrared passthrough so can't comment on that. Very happy with it. 5

[1.555 lb] I have used a number of HDMI over CAT extenders, usually with difficulty. I had my best experience with this one. It worked perfectly the first time I tried it with just one tweak to the skew adjustment. I am using it to duplicate a monitor from a computer and having a HDMI In and a HDMI Out on the transmitter made this very easy. This is going to be my go-to extender in the future. And by the way, the price is also great. 5

[ABS] I do professional AV installations and have used all Crestron extenders on all my projects previously. Recently I worked with a client on a very tight budget and decided to try this. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost, no issues and synced right up. They use the system every week. 5

[1.555 lb] I had tried a number of other brands of HDMI extenders but none of them would work on my long run (150ft). This device works perfectly and the image quality if very good. Several of the other brands introduced green artifacts including the older, 164ft version of the Comprehensive CHE-1. Comprehensive didn't update the model number when going from the 164ft version to latest version which has 70 meters printed on it. If you buy from BH you'll be getting the latest model. Highly recommend this product. 5

[ABS] Have tried a couple others but mixed results. This one works with everything we plug in. Never worry about it not connecting. We have it at front of church to feed PA booth and another one that feeds projectors. The extra out on the transmitter means we can use signal for a monitor in back as well as big screen in front. Been a BH customer since the days of magazines. Always my first goto. 5

[1 A] We all have experienced the thrill of finding a great product for a next-to-nothing price. It does happen, about as often as winning the jackpot at the casino. The truth is, in real life, if you run a business or have a project which just HAS to work without trouble, you're likely to have to spend some money. The trick is not spending more than you need to. The Comprehensive CHE-1 HDMI Extender is a perfect example of how to do it right. I tried to save money by buying two other brands of less expensive extenders, and, don't get me wrong, they worked. Just not reliably. I tested the CHE-1 extenders as soon as I received them. They are well packed, have good instructions, and have aced my tests, which are to operate continuously for more than a week in both cold rooms and rooms at normal human temperatures. No black interference lines in the picture. No flickering, a good solid picture on a 100 foot length of Cat 5e cable. I am glad I bought two of these. I will buy more for future projects. They have earned my trust. 5
