The only difference is the format that the drive ships in. The Crucial 4TB X9 Pro USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD for Mac is shipped out in a Mac APFS format where as the Crucial 4TB X9 Pro USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD ships out formatted in exFAT.

It doesn't have the metal click of some of the competitors, but that's what I was looking for. I can game or work from my PC without waking everyone in the household. Also, the size of the keys and the width of the keyboard is very comfortable. 5
