The optional PVML-HSX1 HDR-SDR conversion license enables the HDR-SDR conversion function of PVM-X3200, PVM-X2400, and PVM-X1800 for use in a live production system.

The license activates 4K to HD down-conversion; color space conversion from ITU-R BT.2020 to ITU R BT.709; and OETF conversion from HDR EOTF S-Log3 (HDR), ITU-R BT.2100 (HLG), SMPTE ST 2084 to SDR EOTF 2.4.

It also allows the output of converted pictures to another 4K or HD monitor from the Enhanced Monitor Output that supports 12G-SDI or 3G-SDI, even though an original 4K source is quad-link 3G-SDI. This function can be used at a remote site that can only be fed an HDR signal.

HDR-SDR conversion is activated via the USB port of the front control unit.

A: The speedring uses Bowens-S mount, so you can use it in different lights or strobes with same mount. but use different soft and octoboxes in this ring.... i don't think so. or maybe yes, if you're lucky with the kind of softbox. maybe someone can have a better answer.

A: The 16mm Fisheye Conversion Lens for FE 28mm f/2 Lens from Sony is designed specifically for use with the 28mm f/2. It would not fit on the Sony 16-50mm lens. Pros:� Easy attachment and detachment to the 28 mm f/2. Sharpness is not affected by attaching this add-on (that I noticed). Exif data is recorded correctly (16 mm). Solid construction. Relatively cheap. The auto-focus works well. Very fun to use! Cons:� Heavier than the 28 mm lens it attaches to. Like the 28 mm, not weather sealed. It is not a standalone fisheye lens, so the set up ends up being a bit long and a bit unbalanced. If you have the 28 mm and are interested in fisheye photography, just buy it! 5

Pro: Attaches right onto the 28mm f/2 like a glove. Allows an acceptable 3.5 min aperture. Super sharp. Con: super heavy. With the 28mm this is a long lens. (Still worth it!) 5
