A: Yes, you can mount your tripod plate on the side of the SmallRig Half Camera Cage for OM SYSTEM OM-1 for portrait mode shooting.

Q: 2. Is there a cable option for this remote?

A: The RM-WR1 would include the Olympus IP51 cable to make it into a wired remote.

Q: 3. Is a lens hood included in this set?

A: Yes, the OM SYSTEM OM-5 Mirrorless Camera with 12-45mm f/4 PRO Lens (Silver) includes a lens hood.

Q: 7. Is it possible to use one remote for both TG7 and OM5 - remote only seems to respond to the camera most recently paired?

[0.03 lb] I take and use my OM-5 everywhere I go. Street and city-scape photography all around the Baltimore area. I've taken photographs in pouring rain, heavy snowfall, chilly Fall days. It is a trusted travel companion. Paired with M.zuiko prime or telephoto zoom lenses, it's simply terrific. I've photographed everything from ice crystal macros to the moon, cityscapes and birds. Compact and capable. An absolutely wonderful camera.

[0.03 lb] Purchased this to have a weather / dust resistant outdoor camera. The smaller size and light weight are a plus.
Have been using it for over a month and enjoy it.

[0.03 lb] A high quality camera with all the right settings, compact size, and super image and video quality. I bought this for underwater use with an Ikelite housing, but above or below the water the ease of use, compact size, and picture quality are terrific.

[0.03 lb] So far all expectations from learning on E-M1 Mark III met. Fun to use. Sturdy.

[0.03 lb] I bought the OM-5 as a smaller, lighter companion to the OM-1. The OM-5 lacks subject detection (birds, mainly, for me), but I plan to use it as an everyday-carry and fun camera that nonetheless has image quality that's about equivalent to that of the OM-1. Not bad. Some people complain about the outdated USB connection and the older Olympus menu system. Yes, USB-C would be faster and more modern. And yes, the menu system of the OM-1 is more intuitive. But I am looking to set up the OM-5 so that it's basically customized to the ways I shoot, and for that its menus are OK. I'm not trying to master every nook and cranny of the camera's capabilities. I have set the camera up to meet my needs for now (as I have the OM-1), and will explore new features when I need to know about them. The OM-5 is a refresh of the Olympus E-M5 iii, which is an excellent camera and is available used at attractive prices. But in the end, even though the OM-5 is just a refresh/update of the E-M5 iii, the OM-5 is a better camera-- better weathersealing, improved processor, hand-held high-res, starry sky AF, etc. You can find other cameras that improve on the OM-5 in some ways. However, it's hard to find another camera this small and light, with IP53 weathersealing, outstanding image stabilization, a huge range of lenses available (new and used), and all in this price range.

[0.03 lb] I upgraded from the M5-3. It handles the same way, but operationally it's just like my M1 .3 just in a smaller package.

[0.03 lb] I purchased this automatically based on my experience with the E-M1 series (original, mark 2, & mark 3) on which it was not unusual to accidentally knock off the eyepiece and sometimes lose it. So I always kept a spare on hand. I ordered this eyepiece for the OM-1 without having actually yet received my OM-1. Once I did get the new camera, I saw that the design was much improved such that it won't get knocked off nearly as easily. So it turns out I really didn't need it after all. The price was insignificant enough so I kept it anyway.

[0.03 lb] I have or have had most micro 4/3 cameras and I have to say this is the best of all, even better than the OM-1 and G9, since it is much smaller and the image quality is the same. GH6 is huge and it defeats the purpose of micro 4/3 system. And it is the best weather sealed of all of them, while being the lightest. It is also a pleasure to use.

[0.03 lb] Still learning all the menu options. Quite happy with the performance so far with the stock 12-45mm f/4 lens (can't beat the price of ~$200 over the body price). Added a 40-150mm f/4 for daytime shots. This 40-150 is a little longer and heavier, but wow, does it open up possibilities for hikes in the mountains. I get home to view the pics and see things I didn't even see when snapping the shot.

[0.03 lb] It has what I was missing in my beloved Pen F, weather sealing and live ND. It is a thing of beauty. Light as a feather without lenses but so capable that I sold my Sony full frame system, which it was great for image quality, but not cool looking, heavy and bulky. For $1,000, you cannot beat this. The G9, which I also own is a big camera, not so great for traveling, therefore the OM-5 will be in my travel bag way more often than the G9.
