A: CD Playback modes: RANDOM: Random playback REPEAT: Repeat playback :Switching between All-track repeat, Single-track repeat and Repeat off. Playing a specific track (Direct searching) Use 0 – 9, +10 to select the tracks. [Example] Track 4 : Press number 4 to select track 4. Track 12 : Press numbers +10 and 2 consecutively. Playing tracks in a specific order (Program playback) Up to 25 tracks can be programmed. In the stop mode, press PROGRAM. “PGM” appears on the display. Use 0 – 9, +10 to select the tracks. [Example] To program tracks 3 and 12 to be played in that order, press 3, +10 and 2 one after the other. Press Triangle Right / Pause . Playback starts in the programmed order. The program is cleared when the disc tray is opened or the power is turned off. When RANDOM is pressed during program playback, the programmed tracks are played in random order. When REPEAT is pressed during program playback, the tracks are played repeatedly in the programmed order.

[1] It’s now 20 days since getting the Marantz CD 60 with about 70 hours of running in. I think it’s getting to its full potential soon. The soundstage is very wide, instruments precisely placed and you can almost feel where the musicians are performing. It extracts the tiniest bit of information and relays them faithfully. When playing DSD files I was totally amazed. The music rivaled and bested my SACDs! Marantz knows it’s music and thus machine had been tuned to perfection. Christmas came early this year. 5

It has all the features I was hoping for in a modern CD player and has flawlessly played every kind of CD in my collection, from the classic CD format to the MP3 formats. Also love the fact that it complements and communicates with my AV1200NR receiver. 5

[98 dB] I bought this as a replacement to a Bose CD changer. The sound is great. Very easy to connect. Easy to control with remote or phone app. If it were a little smaller in size I would like it a little more, but that doesn’t change my recommendation. 5

[2] This is my second Marantz CD 6007. Dispute very favorable online reviews, the first one purchased from another site failed after a week of increasingly frequent failure to read any discs. I discussed alternative CD players with BH technicians, who assured me that it was their recommendation in that price range and they had had few problems with it. This one is working perfectly and sounds better than the Teac I previously owned, and which also had fatal disc reading problems. 5

[98 dB] I did a review a few weeks ago. I had done 15 hours of listening with this new cd player. I decided to stick with it since it had given me slight more clarity than my old DVD player. I have about 60 hours on it now and it has improved as it went along. The sound stage has opened up, the clarity has seemed to improve even more. I am certainly glad I didn't return it. However, please improve the remote. For a thousand dollar CD player , I feel they did skimp out on the remote. I would recommend this player now. Please just know that it will take time for it to give its best performance. 5
