The Vanco Audio Delay Synchronizer for Seamless Syncis an analog audio delay device with simple stereo RCA audio input and output to resolve "lip sync" issues in audio and video systems. Often analog audio is processed faster than the digital video content, which results in audio and video being out of sync. The synchronizer is a simple and perfect solution, with 16 increments to delay audio anywhere from 20 to 340ms with a turn of a dial.

A: No, you can not split the output from the Ambient Recording ACN-CL Lockit Compact Wireless Synchronizer to sync multiple cameras at once.

Q: 5. Will this unit add audio delay if desired?

A: No, the Track E does not output timecode so it cannot function like a Sync E to inject timecode into a DSLR..

Q: 7. can you use a shotgun microphone with the track E?

A: Yes, you can use a shotgun microphone with the Tentacle Sync Track E Pocket Recorder, however, the mic will need to connect using a 3.5mm TRS locking connector and must either operate using a battery for power or be capable of functioning with plug-in power of 5V of less. For example, the Rode VideoMic GO II (B&H # ROVMGII) or VideoMicro (B&H # ROVIDEOMICRO ) can be used when connected with a cable like the Sennheiser CL1 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS locking cable (B&H # SECL1). Or you can use a mic like the Sennheiser MKE 600 Shotgun Microphone (B&H # SEMKE600) when powered with a AA battery and connected with a cable like the Sennheiser CL2 (B&H # SECL2) XLR female to 3.5mm TRS locking cable.

Q: 8. Will this device accept an SDI signal as a genlock input, broadcast this over ACN, and output a wordclock referenced to it? I see lots of discussion of genlock output, but not input. I have a camera without genlock, and I want to avoid pops when combining HDMI + AES - SDI. Therefore I want to synchronize the audio ADC to the un-genlockable camera.

A: no this device will not work as a genlock for a camera without genlock, it's base/fundamental mode of synchronization is time code

Q: 9. Is there a reason this can't hold the 140" rolls?

A: As a normal 107" roll of seamless conforms to the 40" diameter of the Savage Seamless Paper Pro Storage Rack, the 140" rolls do not. This is because the 140" rolls are larger in diameter since it comes in a 100' roll as opposed to the 36' roll on the 107" roll of seamless.

Q: 10. If I have two Track E pocket recorders, can I sync them with the phone app, or do I have to have the Sync E in order to sync?

A: Yes, it is possible to sync multiple Tentacle Sync TRACK E Pocket Audio Recorders and to control them using the phone app.

[0.82 lb] After searching for weeks for the right delay I finally settled on the timefactor and could not be happier. I use it 2 ways, as the last effect on my pedalboard with stereo INS and stereo outs feeding two amps and from the send to the return of each of two amps. The timefactor works great in both uses. The ability to choose the mix of both dry and delay is great. The ability to use two seperate delay lines is like having two delay lines in one. I also like the three options for bypass type allowing you to use the peal as a buffer in your chain or going full true bypass. For the money this is one of the most versatile units available, and with the quality of eventide behind it, you cannot go wrong. 5

[3.2 oz / 90.7 g] This item is a good device for if you to splice audio signals that have to have a common output. i am using this for a customer of mine in a sports bar for hooking up a jukebox and internet radio to a common mixer channel. For something of this nature its good for that. I understand you can use these in multiples but for what Im using it for it does the job!! 5

[0.82 lb] The sound is very clear. No coloring. This is by far the best delay I've had and the others I've owned don't macth on any point... (Ibanez AD-9, Boss DD-7) It's a bit expensive but worth it. It's simple to use, very nice and offers a lot for the money. The sound is absolutely incredible. The USB port offers the capability of upgrading the presets and firmware. This pedal evolves so it doesn't get outdated. Eventide have a nive web support and pdf files and programs. You can organize the presets with a free application on their site. So many features - impossible to list. 5

[0.82 lb] The concept behind this kind of extender is simple. Transformers at each end convert between the unbalanced RCA (or stereo mini) signal and balanced audio on twisted pairs of the CAT cable. Many products out there now for this, but much more expensive. I used these recently to get audio between two distant areas in a restaurant and it worked great. I doubt the transformers are of the quality I'd want for critical audio, but for background music and TV it's fine! 5

[5 VDC] The ACRs we use are needed to prevent noise from being injected into the paging systems output when not needed. They control the proper output from our security voice output when it is needed. They work really well for that need. Can not think of anything bad about the units. 5
