[2' / 0.6 m] I'm using this extension cord to power my flash strobes and my Video LED lights in my studio and on location. Plus I'm tired of those ugly orange cords which is a sore thumb. having it all black is soooo much prettier. It blends with my AC cords and almost disappears on Set.

Every extension cord follows electrical codes which most people often forget to check their rating and plug in just about anything. This cord, with a maximum Load of 13A, 125V, 1625W, which is exactly the MAXIMUM load you can have anyways on a standard 15 Amp outlet, PER CIRCUIT with nothing else plugged in that circuit. If you exceed the load on this extension cord, you are also exceeding the permitted load on your outlet / circuit, therefore, this extension cord does the job right. 20 Amp circuits are usually commercial facilities, which allows you to load more, but again, don't forget the ratings on the extension cord, found on its labels.

Plugging in TWO 600 watt LED lights, is approaching your load limit by 70% on a home circuit.

The Watson 3-Outlet Power Extension Cord is easy to wrap away as the cord is a softer PVC. When dealing with halogen lights, make sure this cord is nowhere near that heat beam or ON the light's body, like most extension cords shouldn't. Don't allow people to step on electrical cords or place heavy items on top, so they don't get damaged or cut when crushed.

I also like that I can plug in a large DC power adapter without getting in the way. (see pictures)

I have it connected in my living room with all of my gaming system. The other day there was a power outage when I was out and I was worried about my game system. When I got home everything was fine. I'm actually content with this outlet protector because it actually did it's thing and Ill be getting another one. I highly recommend it.

Spacing between ports is enough to toggle wider power cable connectors to make use of each port on the unit. It isn't totally necessay but having an LED would be preferred to indicate power is ON

[12 AWG] Happy with this extension cord. Seems very well built, made with quality materials, and should last forever. Nice thick cabling, but not so thick that it is hard to manage, which is what I wanted. I like that the cord has 2 female outlets on one side of the plug and a third plug on the reverse side. This makes it easy to fit plugin dc power adapters that are large or anything else that has a large male plug. I like that it is black colored, instead of the orange cords you would get from a box hardware store. Those are an eyesore in my opinion. Having black cords look more professional on set and fade into the background and do not stand out. Connection points seem well-made, and I do not see any weak points that will break from use. The cord has a 13amp rating which is more than enough for my productions and applications. I only use LED lights that do not pull much amperage anyway. Again, I'm happy with this extension cord. [NEMA 5-15P Male] This extension cord worked great. Its not too hard to bend, doesnt feel flimsy, and items plugged in without being too loose or hard.

[0.615 lb] I wasn't sure what electrical cord to get, but after emailing Bretford directly found that my cart (FP60MUL-P5BK) and all current Bretford TV carts work perfectly with the E-6. The 20' cord is perfect too and appears to be VERY durable!
