With a housing machined from solid aluminum, the Brunton Standard Transit Compass, in orange, will meet your needs in the field. This 0-360 azimuth-style configuration of the Standard Transit series uses an NeFeB disk magnet that resists demagnetization and improves shock resistance. Induction dampening makes for a quick-settling needle, and sapphire jewel bearing allows for smooth needle movement. The azimuth and the inclinometer deliver 1/2° accuracy with 1° graduations. Percent grade is displayed with 5% graduations. The compass is equipped with long and short sights, as well as a transparent sight in the mirror for shooting accurate bearings within 1/2°. Its flat nonslip silicone base allows for low-angle strike and dip measurements. Finally, this exquisite instrument is designed with your refreshment in mind—a low-profile bottle opener is built-in so you can enjoy a cool beverage at the end of a day in the field.

A: No, the WANDRD Transit Travel Backpack (Wasatch Green, 45L) was not designed with a waist strap.

Q: 9. have celestron 25x100 binoculars having trouble mounting it on tripod. Is there any easy way to attach or is something wrong with tripod?

A: My apologies for that. The Sliding 1/4 -20 threaded mounting screw should be able to move to thread. Maybe have someone hold the binocular on top, and look under the plate to thread in the screw. That might make it easier.

[0.85 lb] Purchased for nature photography after using a foldable stadium seat pad for years. While the stadium seat pad worked, it was directly on the ground and did not rotate. The Grand Trunk seat easily rotates and elevates you off the ground. At first I thought that the seat was a little too low but quickly realized that it was a good height allowing me to rest my elbows on my knees which helps steady the camera and makes supporting a large lens much easier. Note that it does get easier putting the seat on after using the seat once or twice. Only negative would be that the legs will sink in soft ground- slightly wider feet would help. But for weighing only one pound I can't complain much. 5

[0.5°] This is a nice rugged compass, designed for land navigation, etc. It is accurate and has a 1/4-20 threaded socket for mounting to a tripod. Although not a light or compact as a plastic compass, it should last beyond a lifetime. It comes with a lanyard and a nice leather case...Recommended. 5

[0.85 lb] It took me at least an hour to stretch the denier nylon seat to fit on the three bars/poles. Spins 360° smoothly and can take my weight of 180lbs. with ease. I was hoping that the sitting area would stay in place when it was taken-down and packed back into the convenient storage bag. I'll leave it set up for the week since rain is forecast, so I'm hoping it will stretch a little bit to remove it, and it should be easier to get on and off with each use. Having bone cancer comes with a loss of strength, but either way, it shouldn't be that difficult to slip the poles into the strongly re-enforced holes. Very well built and it should stretch enough over the week to make attaching the seating area much, much easier. Overall, I would recommend this little seat to everyone. Much better than lugging around my much bigger nylon/pole seat with arm & back rests and cup holders meant for camping. 5
