[1500 G] I ordered this heatsink alongside a high performance SSD, and due to conflicting information online regarding the importance of cooling an M.2 SSD, I decided to buy this just in case. It turns out that SSD performance is actually something that can be capped by mobo and processor lanes, and even with a pretty strong build, it can still end up capped. In this way, my SSD never ended up rising beyond 52 degrees, situated directly under the GPU, and moving an entire terabyte of storage from another device. Were I to play with a stress testing software on this SSD (not recommended due to limited write lifespan) it might be possible to raise the temperature higher, but for an ordinary desktop build that isn't writing all that much, this isn't necessary at all. HOWEVER. It has an amazing design and looks really cool inside the chassis. For aesthetic value alone, I'm thrilled with it. Easy install as well, and I feel safer handling the M.2 chip wrapped in the heatsink over handling it bare. 5

[1 TB] This series of Sabrent Rocket M.2 2280's is excellent. They use very little power, so overheating isn't a problem. They're everything you could ask for, but now they're gone! Sabrent doesn't make them anymore, because technology has moved on. Luckily for me, I upgraded my two 2015 MBPr computers while these were still available. B&H had a few 4TB ones left in Feb 2024, at half the original retail price. Yay! 5

[260 TB] Well constructed with clear instructions for installation. Some problems fitting the screws in the sides (obstructed bu motherboard objects) but I managed to get two of them snugly in place. Only time will truly tell but it seems well suited for its purpose. 5

[1500 G] I bought a HP mini workstation that only came with 500GB of SSD. It was easy and cost-effective to add the 1TB to an open slot in the HP. So far, so great! 5
