The Sirui P-325FS Carbon Fiber Monopod 5-Sectionfrom Sirui P-325FS Carbon Fiber Monopod 5-Sectionis a versatile, feature-laden carbon fiber monopod with a load capacity of 22 pounds and a maximum height of 55.1 inches. The monopod extends and folds quickly thanks to the ergonomic flip-lock joints. The head plate incorporates a quick release collar to easily remove and store a mounted camera or tripod head, and it features a reversible 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 mounting stud.

The base of the monopod incorporates a tripod foot base for added stability, which features a locking ball joint with a tilt range of up to 36° and rubber-tipped feet for added traction. The quick release mounting plate can be attached directly to the tripod foot base to form a mini tripod for macro photography or tabletop use.

A: No, the Sirui P-424FS 4-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod with VH-10 Video Head's quick release system is based on the Manfrotto 501 plate, so it will not accept Arca-Swiss plates.

Q: 3. Is it normal for this monopod to exhibit quite a bit of flex at full extension? Even when each joint is stepped down an inch or so, will it still exhibit some flex being a monopod? Or should it feel very stiff and stout?

A: My Sirui P-326 flexes very little. even at full extension. I own three other monopods, all of which were purchased before I bought my 326. If I were to buy another monopod, it would surely be another 326. For me, it has the perfect blend of support and size and works very well with my Nikon 300S, even with my 80-400 mm telephoto lens attached.

A: No, the legs do not fit on the P 326.

A: I used this on an offroad African safari. Nikon D810; Sirui G-20x head; Nikon 200-500 mm zoom. Worked like a champ. Does exactly what a mono pod should do which is provide extra stability for long lens shots. Very compact and light weight which makes this nicer than my sturdy but heavier Manfrotto Monopod.

[Flip Lock] It is very useful for shooting video in the city or in crowded places. It can be set up stable and rigid. I use it to shoot video of old city scenes and surrounding scenery with the Z6 III on it. It is very useful because it allows me to shoot quickly and without blurring in small spaces, while making my equipment more compact. It makekes me more mobile. 5

[Flip Lock] This monopod worked great on our last work trip out of the country. The tripod base is removable, making it easy to fit into a carry on or a backpack. (The length of this monopod when the tripod base is detached is only 17 inches) Pros: - Quality Construction - Easy to use - Lightweight - Travel Friendly - 22lb Load Capacity Cons: - Definitely costs more than the average monopod - Need to also purchase a Video Head 5

[Flip Lock] I found the pod to be useful but would recommend that one of the feet should be flat so if a user wants to lean forward more they can step on the flat foot for more stability I would recommend this to others. 5

[Carbon Fiber] Great product and service per usual at B&H. I was actually looking at a different Sirui monopod and the B&H rep went out of their way and said we have one that’s a step up and on sale making it less than the one I was looking at and I greatly appreciated that as few stores will do things like that these days. B&H really excels at generating customer loyalty 5

[5] I tried different monopods. A Vanguard, a Manfrotto and then this one. The biggest difference is that this monopod is modular, so when you snap off the feet and the top piece, it becomes the smallest in size and can easily be attached to a daypack without sticking out. I love the quality and ease of use. I will be travelling with this monopod from now on instead of a tripod. 5

[Yes] This is a sturdy carbo Fiber monopod with a Tilt head. The base could be configured as a small tripod or a monopod. Quick release can quickly convert this monopod into a table tripod. The central foot as an integrated spike that can be easily retracted. Quick Cam release to adjust the desired height. Ball head over the tripod foot to allow flexibility for the orientation of the monopod. The Tripod base can easily be removed to decrease the weight on the monopod. I would certainly recommend this very nice monopod to my friends. 5
