[Acrylic] I am recording voice overs from home and I'm using this Sorber baffle to stand behind me and prevent room reflections from making their way back to the microphone. It is very effective.

[Clear] I purchased 2 panels for my home recording studio. I have had them now for about 8 months and I am very pleased with the product. They have good solid craftsmanship and design and can be easily moved and tucked away without looking messy. The balance is ideal because its heavy enough to perform the job and not tip over easily, while also being so light you can move it around the space all day without any trouble.
Not only do they work very well for recording, I found there was a lot of day-today usability.�I live in an apartment near a street with some noise, so its great for blocking the sound/light while I am working in my office. As Im sure you can imagine, if I want to play something loud without bothering the neighbors, this also helps.�

[Acrylic] Holds up the ceiling panels like a champ.

[Clear] At first I was skeptical about the fact that a light smaller than it’s competition is promising those output figures (20,000 LUX at 1m) But after taking the leap and buying one, boy was I astonished by the results. 

I love the fact that this fixture is bi-color and has such a high output, meaning I don’t have to worry about the setting I’m working in, as I can always adjust the light and the intensity accordingly. Never do I have to worry about the logistics and the weather conditions of a certain shoot anymore, as I can always pair up the fixture with a water resistant battery, set up the light and scene, and when needed, adjust the light from a distance from my smartphone (this feature has come in handy so many times when the light is mounted high up on a c-stand).

Even though the fixture is slightly heavier than the Litepanels Astra 6X, I understand that in order to achieve the weatherproof rating that it has, it needs to have some compromises (in this case an all aluminum housing that acts as a heatsink in order to cool the light), but the in my opinion the benefits that come with it - completely silent, dust and water resistant, outweigh the only downside.

In my opinion the higher price point is worth the investment, as this will probably be the only panel light that you need!

[Clear] Our high school room is small, but high schoolers love a full band. Without the drumshields and lid, it's too loud for even high school kids. The lid made a huge difference by keeping sound from bouncing off the ceiling and back off the floor.

[Acrylic] Panels are well made and fit well together. Work as advertised.

[Acrylic] Works really well at containing my Fender Super reverb amp in smaller venues. I use the clearsonic panels in front and these out back. Nice quality and professional appearance.

[Clear] I have recently purchased two of these for my ENG kit and couldn't be happier, they are as bright as a lupo super panel, brighter than an Astra and much better colour than a cream source.

Not quite as bright as a cream source 1x1 spot panel but very close, with the added benefit of bi colour and far better colour accuracy these turned out to be great lights.

The practilites adopted a similar system to the creamsource drop in diffuser gels which makes it very easy to use, not quite as easy to drop in and out but still only take a few seconds longer to slide in a filter.

With a 95 watt hour battery I'm getting about 1 hour of battery life at maximum brightness, (1 hour 15 it cutts out ) but I change at 1 hour tops.

Half the size as a 1*1 panel but equally as bright, I wish they made a 1x1 version of this light as it would be amazing!

One of the only issues is because it is physically smaller you get less throw, so a 1x1 panel with a 30 degree filter will light up a larger area than the practilite with it's built in 30 degree spread.

Would recommend for ENG work, robust, reliable, great colour, much cheaper than some competition

[Clear] We use the shields on Sunday mornings for our worship set. We have two amazing guitarists (which means two amazing amps as well). This has helped our singers to be able to hear what's going on again. I'm actually purchasing another now.

[Clear] It is an amazing light for the price. It is super bright. Shadows have some weird patterns if diffuser is not used. Also you can't tell which diffuser is half or full.
