[Plastic] This adapter allows me to use my Samyang XP 14mm EF lens on my EOS R6 Mk2. I mounted the lens using this adapter, set the camera to release shutter without lens, and was then able to use my favorite astrophotography lens again. I don't know what impact this will have on my aperture settings. 5

[0.305 lb] I'm using the adapter with my New Canon R6 and my old 24-105 and new Tamron 70-200. Everything communicates very well. I have had a few times where somehow the ring clicked out of place. That might have been my fault but when it clicks out, it stays on so you might think everything is fine. When you go to use it, nothing will happen. Don'y panick. Just check twho connections between the camera body and adapter AND the adapter and lens. Make sure it is all secure. Turn the camera back on and you should be good to go. I only bought this adapter because they were out on the Canon one but it does a great job. - Flicker Shack Photos 5

[Plastic] This fotodiox adapter has the screw mount on the bottom so you can screw it into the base lens adapter support on the cage, eliminating lens movement. Great investment! 5

[Zoom Gear] Right now its a tough time to get your hands on a Canon adapter so I went ahead and got this one for my RP. I only had one RF lens so it was awesome to be able to use my EF Glass. It works. That's all you really need to know. 5

[0.305 lb] I have a couple of these to use the EF lenses on a R series camera. This version does not have the electronic data transfer pins that are incorporated into the official Canon and some more expensive adapters. Absolutely fine when shooting full Manual. 5

[0.305 lb] FAST FAST FAST. Tight but not too tight. Simple but effective--MUCH better than the more expensive Vello with the aperture ring. Tripod mount is sturdy. The only thing is sometimes you need to turn the camera off and on again after mounting to recognized the adaptor...but it's a minor nuisance and overall this is very reliable. 5

[Plastic] Vello has incredible build quality and as soon as you have this adapter in your hand you will feel weight and solid components that make this adapter a work horse. Now you may hear complaints about no AF but this is a basic adapter that works beautiful with your RF mount accepting EF lenses. The mechanics are solid and smoth and your lenses will be secure.
