Sporting a distinctive 16-sided form factor and very fast setup and breakdown, the 60" FotodioX EZ-Pro DLX Collapsible Beauty Dish Softbox 60"is an ideal modifier for portrait, beauty, and fashion photographers. Though it seems contradictory, the modifier offers soft light with a crisp edge and sharp falloff thanks to its depth.

The design features a reflective silver interior to maximize output and both inner and outer diffusion panels that can be removed, according to your contrast requirements. The DLX employs a bounce plate (sometimes called a deflector) that disperses the light into the modifier for a soft light quality and to eliminate the hot spot caused by direct light. FotodioX includes a fabric grid that tightens the beam spread, reduces spill light, and provides the directional control needed for selective lighting.

[Yes (Included)] I've used beauty dishes my whole career however they are a pain to store and travel with. These foldable beauty dishes are light, quick to open and produce a beautiful even light. 5

[Fabric] This guy is kind of tricky to un-fold, specially the first time. I was actually kind of concerned I made a mistake purchasing this modifier. But after I put it together the first time and broke it down I started to understand the finesse of it all. It takes me about 45 seconds to unfold now vs the 30 minutes it took me the first time. After you get everything assembled you can just leave it on and it still fits in the bag (reflector, diffuser , velcro). It all folds up and fits in the provided bag neatly. The light falloff is creamy too 3 5

[Collapsible] The Bowen’s speed ring is included with the soft box and you don’t have to go through the hassle of connecting the rods into the speed ring, which is very convinient. 5 feet might not seem like much but when it’s a softbox and you’re lighting your subject, it makes a tremendous difference. It has great soft/smooth light. Just beware of the wind if you’re using this outside, will definetly tip over easily if there’s no assistant or weights on your light stand, and you wouldn’t want to ruin your strobe(s). 5

[Yes (Included)] When used without diffusion the light quality from the white interior is far superior to silver interior collapsible boxes used with a deflection plate and no diffusion. The grid can't be used without diffusion or grid shadow lines will appear on the subject and or background in many cases. Both the 48 and 56 inch versions are very easy to open and close. 5

[Silver] very nice portable light tool. The only improvement is to include 4 center post holding the cap diffuser instead of just two. 5
