A: While this product, the DENZ FDC Light for PL-Mount (B&H# DEFDCLPLS), and the other product, the DENZ FDC Multi Flange Focal Depth Checker (PL Mount) (B&H# DEFDCMFDC) are both used to measure flange distance in PL mounts, the DENZ FDC Light for PL-Mount (B&H# DEFDCLPLS) is not used with other mounts, too. The other product, the DENZ FDC Multi Flange Focal Depth Checker (PL Mount) (B&H# DEFDCMFDC), can be used with separately available adapter rings for LPL, EF, RF, MFT, E, and F-mount cameras. That's why this product is called "Light" and the other product is called "Multi."

A: The Bluestar eye cushion that best fits this viewfinder is their Large Round. They come in natural chamois, (everyday use) microfiber (hot sweaty days) and fleece. (cold days.) See the following link for all the large, round Bluestars B&H sells. BTW, I used this brand for years on large productions and I was very satisfied.

A: Other than the Mount the two DENZ Portable Lens Checker models are exactly the same.

A: I'm afraid it cannot. This viewfinder is designed to attach directly to the Ursa. It can also be used with the Ursa Mini, but you must also purchase the Shoulder-Mount Kit to attach it.

Q: 6. Will this plate work with the Alexa 35?

A: No. Designed and made for the ALEXA SXT/LF/65 units.

Q: 7. Does this work with the Sony Venice?

A: Unfortunately, the Tilta Nucleus-M Run/Stop Cable for ARRI ALEXA Mini only works for the ARRI ALEXA Mini.

A: The cross pipe on this unit is 19mm.

[3 x 3 x 0.5"] This isn't specifically made for the RED V-Raptor, but it works like a charm with it. If you're using a Nucleus-M setup then you need to run the handle grip off of batteries instead of daisy chaining it from the motor. 5

[Clear] Must have if you are a Nucleus-M and RED Komodo owner. It is compatible with the RED Outrigger handle and grants the Outrigger smart pins a pass-through connection. This is good for CamOps to trigger record via handle or for 1st ACs to trigger record via the Nucleus-M remote focus wheel depending what your shooting setup is (handheld, dolly, gimbal, steadicam, etc). There is also no latency on the trigger record in my experience unlike older RED camera models; my Nucleus-M trigger recording is instantaneous. 5
