A: The unit only works in horizontal direction .You would need to rotate the camera to use this adaptor in portrait orientation.The numbers are guides for repeat positioning.Depending on your camera the guides would represent a certain amount of overlap for the final stitching.

Q: 4. Does your digital camera have to have a full sensor for this to work/focus properly? Would a rebel work?

A: Thanks for your answers, they were helpful in making a decison to purchase this. Unfortunately the focusing with a rebel is a pain and not possible with 120mm lens. I bought a bunch of FP-100C instant film to hold me over until I figure another solution out. I really just wanted this for test shots to see how the lighting looked and then take the final image 4x5 film. Color film is too expensive to text on these days haha

A: It should. the 2 silver tabs on the side of the ground glass will remove the ground glass, then the Fotodiox will mount where the ground glass was.works great on my combo legend.

A: You would use 4x5 lenses when using the FotodioX Pro Nikon F Large Format 4x5 adapter.

A: It depends on the rear standard locking mechanism your Tachihara has. If its the standard Graflok (a sliding plate on the top and bottom) it will work. Send a picture of your rear standard minus the groundglass if you can for us to check.

A: Unfortunately, I have no specification data on the Canham DLC 45. My experience relating this adapter is to use on Linhof Technika 45 camera and Sony alpha 7R. I modified the adapter to fit for Sony camera. It dose work very well. If the Canham DLC 45 has a same size of film back as Linhof and you use long focus lenses more than 150mm, it will be recommended. Under the recent difficult situation to get a film, this adapter will save your indispensable camera and lenses.
