Clean photographic lenses, binoculars, and telescopes without scratching the delicate coatings on the glass. The wipes are very soft and can also be used to safely clean sensitive surfaces such as photo film, CDs, mirrors, scanners, and inkjet print heads. The 4 x 4" size wipes are best suited to 35mm film and other small surfaces.

A: I agree with Derek G on this, these wipes are not very damp but do you need to? Normally, you do not have to remove dirt like spaghetti sticked on a plate! It's optic and to my experience, the dirt on a lens can be removed very easily. I will add that you might have to finish the cleaning with a very soft microfibre cloth to get a pristine optic.

A: Yes, you can clean film and photographic emulsions using PEC-PAD photo wipes. We recommend using them in conjunction with the appropriate cleaning solution.

Q: 3. Is this product alcohol free? I could find another Zeiss production with label Alcohol and Ammonia free , but I do not see that label here.

A: If you want a cleaning liquid that's more than just water, it's going to have an organic solvent for carrying away oils. In this case, it's isopropyl alcohol.
