However, you can use the mesh stretchable pocket on the side you won't be utilizing to access the equipment inside the backpack. You can attach small tabletop tripods but if you own a standard tripod you can also use the strap to secure the top of your tripod and insert 2 of the tripod legs on the side pocket. You can also use the belt strap and the bottom loop to secure a tripod on this backpack.

Q: 2. Could a Canon 400mm F2.8 fit inside?

A: You can only fit the Canon RF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens with or without the camera body attach only through the top and re shaping the interior of the Lowepro Photo Active BP 300 AW Backpack. However this unit was not design for such a long telephoto lens and it will not be as protective to your gears as other backpacks.

[Zipper] I really love this bag. As a photographer we are constantly looking for the perfect camera bag - this is the closest I have found. It's just to right size for working in the field as a photographer. You can also use it as a regular backpack by just easily pulling out the interior. If you have a drone like a DJI Air S2 it's all you will need to carry your gear around. 5

[Black / Blue] This is aother outstanding Lowe pro pack if you can get it on a deep sale as I did. It is great for on-plane trips with a cameras or without. the internal area is customizable. I can get a rangefinder and several large books and a days underclothes and tons of little things like chargers and cords and headphones you need easy access too on long over ocean flights. It is small so if at you feet you can still extend your legs.on a plane 5

[19.3 x 11 x 7"] Quite simply the most flexible and creative design I've ever encountered in a backpack. I use it for field recording audio, gear, rearrange it and put my guitar stomp boxes,effects,strings, etc. for the gig on the weekend... Very cool aesthetically. Not over-sized. [Zipper] I like the quality of this back. The zips are all good. The back pocket is for water bag. I was trying to fit in a laptop. But it was not big enough for my laptop (14). Smaller laptop or ipad should be OK. 5

[Yes] I bought this backpack even though I already have closet full of camera bags, suitcases, and backpacks. None of them could carry everything, or else they were too big or heavy to fly with. I managed to get two bodies, four lenses (including a Nikon zoom telephoto), six batteries, and a charger in this little backpack, and I still have room for a book! AND it is comfortable to carry. 5

[Yes] I love this back pack. I have been using it on my long bike rides and it is very comfortable. For hiking, I use the laptop holder space for my water bladder and it works perfect. I am able to quickly access my camera with one lense and two extra lenses as needed. Enough room also for some clothes or snacks. I actually didn't have high expectations for this backpack so it exceeded all my expectations. 5
