That vertical arm/rail extends far below the position where the camera would be mounted horizontally on the RS 2. In contrast, the vertical arm/rail of the DJI RS 3 Gimbal Stabilizer (B&H# DJRS3) is short and does not extend far below the horizontal mount for the camera. That will make the setup unbalanced and top heavy. We cannot recommend that.

A: According to Smallrig this mount measures 134mm (about 5 1/4 inches), as such, most 7" monitors will have their screw mount in the middle requiring 3-4" space on either end. So in conclusion, yes, this mount should have more than enough clearance for most 7" monitors.
