Q: 1. Does this fil work with any traditional film camera

A: Yes. Works well with any traditional 35mm camera.

Q: 2. so this is daylight, but you need a filter??????

A: Cinestill 800 is a tungsten light balanced film, it would be roughly equivalent to a digital white balance around say 3000k. It's perfect for indoors under tungsten lighting however you will need an orange filter (81a or similar) if you want to use this film in daylight or other lighting around 5100k (eg- flash, etc).

Q: 3. How many exposures do I get with half frame camera?

Q: 9. Is this a daylight or tungsten balanced film?

A: The CineStill Film 400Dynamic Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is daylight balanced.

Q: 10. I used this film with Nikon FM-10 and Sekonic L-308X-U on a daylight, i sat my light meter to 400 ISO, am following the light meter readings and i still getting under exposed images, what u think is my problem. btw sometimes i push my film but i still not satisfied with the results. (**note** camera is in good condition)

A: As mentioned in the 120 version: I've shot this film twice, once at 800 with no push, and second time at 1600 and pushed 2 stops. The second time around I had better results with contrast and the look I was going for. It's a bit trial and error, but I feel 400 is too low. Try shooting at 500 in daylight if you use with a 85 filter as per CineStill, but honesty I think this is better suited at 800 or 1600 ISO.

[Daylight] I love playing with all kinds of different stocks in my simple point and shoot and this is really my favorite so far. Exactly what I’m looking for when I shoot in color.

[500] Honestly one of my favorite color film stocks. It rivals portra!

[36] I took this on a day trip out west, and the overcast weather suited the film perfectly. It's pretty grainy, as befitting a more retro-styled film, but it never overpowered the image.

[500] The color palette isn't for everyone, but it's become one of my favorites.

[0.06 lb] I really like UN54! It's contrasty but not so contrasty that you crush the highlighs and shadows.
I like it developed in f76+ better than HC110 but both look pretty good. My only real warning about the film is that it halates very intensely.

[0.06 lb] I love love love this stuff, but beware it's not exactly traditional. It's pretty grainy and probably more accurately rated at EI 320. The colors favor greens and it has this very distinctive shift in the reds into a dark organgey look.
I love all of this for my art practice but it's probably not good if you're doing wedding shots or something.

[35mm] This is a low contrast film the allows you to capture all the details in the highlights and the shadows. Superfine grain reminiscent of Panatomix-X and Adox KB-14 takes you on an absolute retro elegance tour de force! I wish this was available in 120 & 4x5.

[1] This is ISO 200 film speed according to my Minolta Dynax A-9. Unlike its cousin NC500, this film has more defined greens and blues, as it appears to be Tungsten based. I rated it at EI 200 and it turned out to be a correct exposure. Overall, NC400 is a great film showing deep ocean blues, deep greens and is unlike any Kodak or Fuji films. I have to try it for portraiture.
