[2.875 lb] This superb sounding AMBEO Soundbar received a re-design of its iPhone software - really a paired down, less complex, and now well-Performing remote. However, there is little reason to use it for any routine operations, given its seamless integration with, say, Apple TV and a high level LG or other "smart HD TV monitor".

With the addition of a good sub, the Sennheiser is as good as a Soundbar can likely be-at least without dropping $20K or so on a room full of high quality speakers and a pro-level amplifier. Highly recommended!

[14 lb] My maiden voyage with this mic was an open field on a windy day to record a university marching band. I used a blimp and a dead cat, got zero wind noise and nice clear audio that imported easily into Audition and Premiere.

[14 lb] This really fills up my new living room that’s 20 x 24 with a 16’ ceiling, without having to hanger speakers and run wires.

[2.875 lb] I have it in the same room as my PMC speakers and the sound of the bar looks good, similar quality - better than any other bar I tried. Probably the only bar that can compete here is 5.1.4 Sennheiser Max which I also auditioned, but I prefer Plus both for the sound quality and size, and true 7.1.4 soundbar sound from a single bar! 

I had to put down blinds to get the full surround effect and it is indeed 7 bed-level speakers with Atmos height speakers in my room with 0.34 slanted high ceiling. 

Of course, it is not the same as my full size 9.2.4 system, but their relation is like between your favorite epic novel and your favorite short story from your favorite author. I think the bar has more exquisite delicate sound Netflix, Prime watching, while the other system is more life like power force.

It is important to put the bar on its feet of a very solid not vibrating surface - my is a bit elevated on some particle high quality boards attached to the cabinet vi BluTac. Demos demonstrated a perfectly traceable 3D flight of insect in my room, e.g.. Huge 3d soundstage for Dune fly in the sandstorm.

And indeed the sound can come from behind as in a recent Prime movie Role play when 2 characters per runs in the forest in the end of the movie shouting from various directions. Excellent Atmos of Netflix My bother's sin 2024 (or so).

I was not able to accommodate Ambeo (and Focal 600p) sub, both wirelessly and by wire. Not a good integration in my experience for movies. The bar works clearer and more harmonically alone.

I connected a 4k player and Nvidia Shield TV to my LG Oled TV by eArc to eArc 8k Supra cable to the bar.

Music is also great but way better with the Amber sub - and I remind in the same room with PMC 5 twenty and SA30 from Arcam.

[14 lb] This is my 4th Soundbar and the last. Finally I have sound that fills the room without distortion.

[2.5 lb] I have a 10 Martin Logan subwoofer attached to the bar as well. The separation of music and speech is incredible. This system sound better than any Bose system, including the ones with satellite speakers.

[14 lb] I have been using it since 2019,. That's the year when endless search for the best soundbar stopped. This is definitely the best soundbar on the market.

[Metal] Pros: great packaging, excellent build quality, very powerful, seamless syncing with Sony OLED TV, 3D & Atmos is stunning.

Cons: Sennheiser Smart Control is not easy to set up.

Bottom line: The Sennheiser Ambeo is worth every penny!! Make sure you do not skip calibration- it makes a world of difference. Also, be careful handling the antenna- it's very sensitive.
