Keep handy as a spare or mount a second camera onto this 3 Legged Thing Quick Release Plate for AirHed Cine-Vfrom 3 Legged Thing Quick Release Plate for AirHed Cine-Vfor fast swapping of cameras on your tripod head. Made with a jet-black Darkness color and an anodized magnesium alloy, the plate is lightweight and strong enough to stand up to the rigors of a production day. The rubberized patches on top provide increased grip while protecting your camera from metal-to-metal contact for a good grip without overtightening the camera screw.

The plate has a slotted channel that allows you to adjust the position of the camera screws and your camera to rough in the balance, and you can slide the plate within your tripod head's platform to find the optimal balance for your camera rig. The included 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 stainless steel camera mounting screws stay in the channel when no camera is attached, making it less likely they will get lost when moving from location to location.

[Magnesium] I bought this to use with the Wimberly Sidekick. I needed a longer plate to balance the camera and lens. The lens extends as you zoom, so the balance point shifts. This plate is long enough to balance when fully zoomed in or out. It is nicely made, and works great.

[Manfrotto 501PL] Great construction and it’s Orange which looks great on my 3 Legged Thing Billy tripod.

[Magnesium] These heads work decently and yet are the lightest in weight. A big plus for me is the Arca plate support, save the extra weight of converting an Manfrotto style clamp to an Arca clamp. I use them on my monopod for birding mainly, although they would work fine on tripod with lighter equipment. The limitation is on the counter balance, although very decent for such a small fluid head but it is not going to really balance a 600mm f4 and heavier lenses. Fluid actions are very smooth on these heads.

[Manfrotto 501PL] Admittedly I got this as bling for my A7Rii as the color matches the lens mount perfectly and it’s much nicer than the mount that comes with the Peak Design capture clip (yes it’s compatible with it and all of my arca swiss ball heads). So if you are looking for a cheap (by photography standards) functional upgrade I highly recommend this.

[Magnesium] I needed a more heavy-duty tripod head for my
3 Legged Thing Eclipse Leo tripod. The 3 Legged Thing AirHed Pro Lever Ball Head is great for just a camera (such as my Canon EOS 7D Mark II), but I was uncomfortable with placing a heavy teleprompter system on a ball head tripod head. The AirHed Cine-S tripod head is heavy duty and easily accommodates the weight of a my teleprompter (Ikan PT-ELITE-V2-TK) with no fear of it coming loose and damaging the equipment attached to it. It also glides nicely when you want to follow a moving subject. It's a good tripod head for my purposes.

[Magnesium] Needed a strong portable for my canon 5d and 70-200 lens.  Just for kicks added the extra weight of the double battery, very pleased with stability.  Easy set up.  The bag it comes with is a waste, I tossed it.  Would rather have a simple shoulder strap which I happened to have laying around from an old PC bag.  Nice job from the Brits.
