Ideal for field monitoring applications, the TVLogic 9" UHD 4K SDI/HDMI LCD Monitorfrom TVLogic 9" UHD 4K SDI/HDMI LCD Monitorsupports both SDI and HDMI video at resolutions up to UHD 4K. Four SDI ports and one HDMI port natively support full HD resolutions while also supporting UHD 4K inputs. The LUM-0956 has a 178° viewing angle and maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² for increased visibility.

Onboard button controls allow you to adjust various image monitoring parameters from waveform to image flip. Control can also be achieved via the RS-422 connections or via remote control using the RJ45 port on the back panel. Upload custom 3D LUTs and view various cine camera LUTs for color monitoring.

A: Through your camera settings, you will be able to mirror the camera's LCD screen and display playback.

Q: 8. Will the Shinobi accept a 12g SDI cable?...I understand it will only monitor certain Red Komodo outputs, but Red states you should only use a 12g SDI. Will this monitor accept any signal at all from a 12g SDI?

A: The Atomos Shinobi has a HD 1080 60p 3G-SDI port. The SDI inputs only work with HD resolutions. The HDMI inputs support 4k. It will work with 12G outputs. However, You have to set the output of the camera to HD modes to work with the Shinobi SDI ports.

Q: 9. Does this show audio levels? How many tracks?

A: Yes it can. It can display levels for 2 audio tracks.

Q: 10. if i input SDI, can i get SDI + HDMI out? and viceversa? Thanks!!

A: If you input SDI, you will get SDI loop out, but not HDMI -- You will need HDMI in to be able to send that via the HDMI loop out.

[244 ppi] I was surprised and not so surprised being that I used and older model of this brand before. This is a great looking monitor And I'v used Sony professional video monitors with price ranges of $5000.00. I work at a T.V. station and when I showed up with this monitor my direct supervisor ask me to write down the model number. 5

[12 to 24 VDC] I needed a larger, yet portable monitor for use with video switching and streaming. The Shinobi 7 has both HDMI and SDI inputs, and looping outputs, and fits my needs perfectly. In particular, I need a good multi-view monitor, without the size and weight of rack-mounted components. The Shinobi runs a very long time on NP-F batteries, or an AC power supply. 5

[244 ppi] As I mentioned before in my review, the monitor stopped working. I spoke with ATOMOS and their team and sent it out for repair. Their customer service was impeccable . They eye was on the ball at all times. The respective repairs were done , respecting their time limit of almost a week, which was a decent wait. I have not written before to change my review , because after I received the monitor I went out to the field to test it. Have been shooting for over a month with it and it has not presented any problems at all. All respective flaws were fixed. Their Customer service is impeccable . Unfortunately ... yes If you are outside the US , any repair will take time. 5

[1920 x 1080] Really impressed by the build quality and functionality for the price. I've been using the Ninja V for a while and got the Shinobi to have something bigger and 'monitor only'. The brightness is ridiculous and fan is quiet. Highly recommend! 5

[Yes] Solid monitor, great screen and awesome user interface. Fan noise was a bit surprising but you can adjust the fan to go on less. 5

[Yes] Used as a confirmation monitor for two GoPro signals (coming from a Atem Mini switcher) on a broadcast. Was in use for 14 hours each day over a week, receiving an HDMI signal and outputting an HD-SDI signal for the main broadcast. Never faltered. The GoPros would crash and burn occasionally where as this thing just kept kicking. It does exactly what its advertised to do. I chose this over the BM Video Assist as I did not need recording. Its become a must have item in my tool kit immediately. 5
