Take 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HDMI video sources up to UHD 4K and output them to the TVLogic LUM-550M3 54.6" UHD 4K Monitor SDI HDMIfrom TVLogic LUM-550M3 54.6" UHD 4K Monitor SDI HDMIwith up to four SDI sources for monitoring in the field. The SDI ports on the monitor, four outputs and four inputs, can support either 12G-SDI or 3G-SDI video. The 12G-SDI ports can perform as single-link connections, while the 3G-SDI ports can perform in quad-link configurations. The monitor features camera LUTs and custom 3D LUT imports for color customization.

The LUM-550M3 has a horizontal viewing angle of 178° and a maximum white brightness of 700 cd/m² for increased visibility. Onboard button controls allow you to adjust various image monitoring parameters from waveform to closed captioning. Control can be achieved via the onboard buttons or using the IR remote control.

A: I'm sorry to say that you cannot apply 3D LUTS to the TVLogic 18.5" 3G-SDI/HDMI Wide-View LCD Broadcast Monitor. It does not support them.

Q: 4. Does this come with a Sunhood? If not is there one available via Atmos or 3rd party? Does not look like the Shogun 7 hood will work.

A: no it does not come with a sun hood but based on it;s size the shogun 7 sun hood should work

Q: 5. Will this monitor have any latency or lag with a Panasonic GH5 when using for focus and shooting "run and gun" style?

A: HDMI has an inherent delay regardless of the device. You can experience lag from the cable length or port on either end. If you want a zero delay experience, you can use the 3G-SDI input with a camera that can output it.

Q: 6. How do you calibrate this monitor?

A: You will need to purchase a Cr100 or a Calman colorimeter and download the Color calibration software from the TVLogic website. For now the TVLogic software is only available for Windows computers but they plan to add a MacOS version soon.

Q: 7. Picture in Picture

A: The Shinobi 7 does not support picture-in-picture mode.

Q: 8. Does it support picture by picture?

A: No, the TVLogic 18.5" 3G-SDI/HDMI does not offer PBP.

Q: 9. will this work with canon 5D mkIV? Which cable will I need?

A: Yes, the Shinobi 7 will work with the Canon 5D Mark IV. [80 ppi] Been using the Shinobi 5 for years, decided to get the 7 for the larger display. Refresh rate feels a little better (not sure if I'm just imagining that), and the image quality seems significantly better. 5

[80 ppi] This is very helpful during interview setups. I have been using it with my C300mkii and it allows for much more accurate color (by installing custom LUTs) and focus. 5

[Yes] Used as a confirmation monitor for two GoPro signals (coming from a Atem Mini switcher) on a broadcast. Was in use for 14 hours each day over a week, receiving an HDMI signal and outputting an HD-SDI signal for the main broadcast. Never faltered. The GoPros would crash and burn occasionally where as this thing just kept kicking. It does exactly what its advertised to do. I chose this over the BM Video Assist as I did not need recording. Its become a must have item in my tool kit immediately. 5

[150 W] I needed a larger, yet portable monitor for use with video switching and streaming. The Shinobi 7 has both HDMI and SDI inputs, and looping outputs, and fits my needs perfectly. In particular, I need a good multi-view monitor, without the size and weight of rack-mounted components. The Shinobi runs a very long time on NP-F batteries, or an AC power supply. 5
