[Front] I have been looking for a better way to use CPL and ND filters to my lenses. I heard about this magnetic system from a professional photographer who had used them. I have a hard time threading on typical filters.
This has been a lifesaver for me.

[Metal] I really like what Kase has done with their magnetic filters! It doesn't get much easier than this and the quality seems to be holding up well (I have several other Kase filters I use for other lenses). The only comment I have is the vignette, which if you're like me doesn't count many points off because I usually prefer a vignette in my photos. However, there are times where I don't want the vignette and that could be an issue for some. For me, I just remove the vignette in photoshop and move on. For the price and ease of use this is a great buy. Go for it!

[Magnetic] Well built. The magnet is strong, and the ring is very thin.

[77 mm] I have a full set of the Xume magnetic filter rings and lens caps. One of the caps was lost and it was going to cost me $150 to replace it used since they don't make them anymore, shame. The Freewell caps work great and for much less. They are not a perfect fit, they move around just a little bit, but hey, it's a lens cap and the magnets grab and hold on. Great solution if you are in the same situation I was.

[0.055 lb] I often use neutral density filters out when it is cold, and trying to screw the different filters on and off to get the right combination, or even a variable density filter takes time and sometimes is frustrating. The Kase magnetic filters are fantastic and quick to use. The Magnetic Stack Cap Set lets you keep these filters protected in a pocket of much smaller space than a filter case. I give it a 5 star.

[77 mm] I've added these adapter rings (inset version) to all of my lenses making the system fast when changing lenses.

*Warning* This inlaid ring 'may' drop down below the threaded section of your lens making it unusable and it's a little difficult to retrieve. Found this with my Canon RF100-500mm L lens. I replaced this inlaid ring with the standard Kase magnetic ring adapter and it's perfect. Stopping installation of the inlaid ring at the edge of the lens body will of course prevent this, but it's not very secure.

[Magnetic] If you're using the Kase 112mm magnetic filters and don't have one of these magnetic caps, please do yourself a favor and buy one. They are much better in the field compared to the Nikon Z 14-24mm OEM lens cover.
