The 31.5" deep, black 18 RU Simple Server Rack from iStarUSA is used to house rack-mountable servers and equipment. Its steel construction lends it durability, while its open design makes it suitable for countertop and under-desk installations in offices, research institutions, and studios.

[50 lb] We had standard shelves in our rack and decided to add more but with slides. We are very happy. We use test devices on the rack that can slide off the back so we installed these upside down so they are like shallow drawers and it worked perfect. we love the versatility of the product to really make it your own. 5

[Open] I got this for a 6U shallow rack for a sound system. It fits perfectly. I didn't realize it came with an optional lock and key that you can install in a punch-out. The drawer latches without the lock so I don't use it. Also, it came with grommets and punch-outs in the back for routing cables for charging devices in the drawer. 5

[Open] Good quality construction with heavy-duty steel. It is simple to mount on a wall but didn't come with lag bolts to mount into studs. 5

[94 x 43 x 7"] i needed a nice wheeled rack, short enough for printer ontop and to house network switches, NAS and firewall. this is well made, powder coated... came with hardware, and nice wood top. assembly took about 30 minutes, with a cup o joe! 5

[Steel] This turned out to be a pretty great cabinet. Sturdy construction and well put together. I'm currently only mounting 2 servers and have one shelf. I also put casters on this (Event though it's supposed to be for the wall) as I'm keeping this on the ground. You can't fit a regular sized screwdriver to mount anything in the back (it will have to be hand tightened or small screwdriver). But hand tightening worked fine for me. 5
