A: At this moment the Wooden Camera Micro Battery Plate Adapter for RED V-RAPTOR (V-Mount to V-Mount) is not RED Approved. However, many RED customers use this mount successfully today. It is a Trusted item. Wooden is currently submitting it to RED for approval. It will be on the approved list soon.

A: Unfortunately, we have not been able to test these products together, as neither are available in our warehouses as of this writing, and specifications do not explicitly define this pairing.

A: The answer would be no. The Komodo does not natively support V-Mount batteries like the V-Raptor does.

[4 x 2.75 x 0.1"] I have owned every VCT plate out there Shape, Zacuto, movcam, chrosziel and i've sold them all. I found them to be incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something that maintained the low height of my FS7 body when its on my shoulder. Most VCT plates sit so high on the shoulder throwing off the centre of gravity, wooden camera managed to keep the shoulder pad tight to plate eliminating this problem. It only weighs 1.3 LBS which is important when travelling with a kit. They've also ingeniously incorporated their dovetail system into the plate for easy removal of the camera. I cannot recommend this plate enough to anyone trying to keep the weight and profile down of their camera. After a few weeks of shoulder intensive shooting I can confidently say this is the best product out there. 5

[0.115 lb] I purchased this to create a flat base on the rear of my DSLR rig where I could then place accessories like the Blackmagic HDMI-SDI converter. I covered it with velcro(soft-side) and was then able to mount other items, also covered with hard-side velcro, to the back of my rig, out of the way. 5

[Black] Works as directed. I utilized it as a base plate for my dslr on rails. Slightly cheaper than actual base plate but same cheese plate design. difference is no shim kit for raising the rails. Well made attaches to tripod screw. Needed to be cleaned at factory. Metal shavings from milling process were found in the female end of the 15mm rail clamps. Blew the particles out and worked fine. Just would be nice if I didn't have to clean a 100 plus dollar metal part. Planning on attaching another micro clamp to the back of the plate so there are four points of contact on the rails and no chance of shake/bend in rails. 5

[4 x 2.75 x 0.1"] Picked this up to go with my Captain Stubling rig to allow for quick transfer from handheld to tripod. I do a lot of run and gun shooting where time is of the essence. Having the ability to pop my 60D on and off without removing the entire rig is worth every penny. 5
