Keep your Solo PRO encoder accessible on your side when live streaming with LiveU Solo PRO Belt Pack Streaming Encoderfrom LiveU. This durable pouch is custom-designed to fit the Solo PRO and secures the encoder using a double zipper. The pouch is attached to the main adjustable belt which also features a mesh pocket in the back with cable management straps to house your additional modems, small routers, and cabling.

The main pouch features a clear vinyl window on top to access your controls while keeping them protected from the elements. Two Y-cables are included to connect additional modems.

A: In most situations, cameras are first connected to a switcher, then to a computer, then on the computer output. The LiveU Solo HDMI Video/Audio Encoder then connects the video signal to the internet.

Q: 7. Can i send to a broadcast outlet if they have the LiveU decoders? Or, is this just for RTMP or SRT?

A: The LiveU Solo Pro SDI/HDMI 4K Video/Audio Encoder is not compatible with the LiveU Decode Server. It is designed to output via SRT or RTMP.

Q: 8. Do I need to pay a licence or another extra for bonding?

A: Yes, bonding is a technology built into LRT (LiveU Reliable Transport). You can purchase the bundle which includes the Solo Unit and one year of LRT from the B&H store or if you wish you can purchase the unit without LRT and purchase it month to month you register it on our portal.

A: Yes, the LiveU Solo has a microSD slot for recording in H.264: 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080 at 24p, 25p, 30p, 50i, 50p, 59.94i, and 60p,

A: The LiveU Solo SDI/HDMI Video/Audio Encoder has one HDMI and SDI input. A switcher that routes multiples cameras into one program feed is supported.

[1.965 lb] This device worked right out of the box. We use it for live streaming public meetings and other news related events. Flawless! It works connected directly to our camera in the field, or to vMix software on our PC at the office. 5

[Empty] We bought our Solo almost a year ago. If your need is to stream live events using bonded cellular connections, LiveU Solo is exactly what you need and we love ours. Community events, sports, weddings, breaking news will all shine with LiveU. If you are streaming events from locations where you have fixed 5Mb+ LAN connections, you have many other streaming hardware options to look at. Some of which will be cheaper, but all of which will be more complicated to setup and go live. The bonding feature for cell, WiFi and even LAN is what makes LiveU different. they basically invented the technology and most TV station use LiveU's broadcast gear for live shots. If you are an event producer, video production company or even a non-profit with lots of events LiveU Solo will light up your Social Media and WEB site. 5

[Zipper] This has been solid so far. I wish they allowed you to save presets. For example, preset A = 1080p60 to Facebook , preset B = 720p to Twitch. So that things can be switched and set up quickly. Pairing the LiveU Solo with Restream is really powerful. The best way to do this is get data and bonding from LiveU. Buy the cellular modems from B&H. 5

[Zipper] Very easy set up and work as described. I also discovered that it will work without subscribing to the LRT service but it only connects to a single carrier. The difference is night and day The boot Up is about 4 minutes. If you are not currently subscribing to the LRT services and then you suddenly subscribe to it it could take up to four hours for the system to catch up. 5

[Empty] As I've grown my live stream production company, I've tried a bunch of different encoding solutions. The LiveU Solo is BY FAR the BEST! -simple and user friendly -web interface is easy to use and very clean -stream quality is the cleanest I've ever seen out of an encoder to this day(better than pc and teradek encoding) -battery power lasts so long -cellular bonding service is a huge plus just praying they create a decoder soon! 5
