Removing or reducing vibration to a bare minimum is essential for achieving a clean sound from your vinyl. Pro-Ject accomplishes this in a variety of ways with the E1 Phono turntable, starting with the large and sleek plinth. The plinth of the E1 Phono is CNC-machined from composite fiber with no hollow spaces inside. On top of the plinth is the ABS polymer main platter, with integrated ridges to assist in the reduction of resonance. Even the damped DC motor helps by being placed to the side of the main platter, where the belt system drives a sub-platter underneath the main platter.

Playing your records is not complicated with the Pro-Ject E1 Phono. Simply place the record on the turntable, use the electronic speed switch to pick 33 1/3 or 45 rpm, and drop the needle. At the Pro-Ject factory, technicians have already pre-adjusted the tonearm's tracking force and anti-skate to ensure the Ortofon OM 5e cartridge stays in the groove to produce a dynamic sound.

[65 dB] I disagree with a previous reviewer. The Sound Burger is awesome. As someone who puts a lot of effort into having quality gear for records to sound their best, I was surprised at how good the Sound Burger is. Running it through a vintage pioneer receiver it sounds so good for what it is. Not some Crosley junk. Yes, it has no volume control which can be a pain in specific situations, but receivers and bluetooth speakers make it a non issue. It has a line out also. I bought it for when I'm buying records on the road, if you know what you're doing it sounds excellent. A+ 5

[AC Input] This turntable has stunning sound at an amazing price. It might not be for everyone due to its design, but I love it. It has extremely low rumble and comes with a great sounding cartridge. Do make sure you have MM Phono-level input on your amp, or youll need a separate preamp to get a line level signal. A great value. Top notch. 5

[4.5 W] The AT-LPW50PB is my original pick before we notice LP5X, choosing direct drive or belt drive is always a debate. Glad that B&H is short of their stock on LP5X, it makes me a lot easier to go with LPW50PB, lol. The straight carbon-fiber tonearm is amazing, at least feeds my aesthetics. The black piano finishing surface is nice and clean. The overall looking is undoubtedly firm and gorgeous. Talk about the operation and sound. Even though it's a fully manual TT, the initial calibration and play are super easy. It always makes me feel good to make my music by hand. The sound is perfect to me (I accompany the TT with a Marshall Stanmore II). The service of B&H is top-notch, the online order pick-up only takes a couple of minutes. Glad they have a free parking lot for customers! 5

[Piano Black] Smooth silent operation. Platter turns without flutter wow and rumble through signal transfer from stylus to loudspeakers. No noise no rumble. That is important to me. My Yamaha integrated amp maximizes the silent signal delivery.v 5

[15 VDC at 0.8 A] The VINYL 500 arrived as tracked, was well packaged and all components were included. Set up was straight forward except for wireless speakers (hardwire audio output was easy). I bought 2 Yamaha WX-010 multicast speakers to work wireless with the 500. After working with Yamaha technical support (including 2nd level) the system works well - great sound - (500 plus stereo wireless speakers). Because my main wireless is busy, there are some dropouts I may try to work with Yamaha to try the hardwire network or add another wireless extension. Great customer technical support. 5

[4.5 W] I am not an audiophile - I am returning to vinyls after a very long hiatus. I wanted a reasonably priced turntable that sounded great and that's what this unit does. Set up was easy, although balancing the arm took a bit to get it right. I have it hooked up to a Yamaha amplifier (S-301) and two Polk 40 speakers and the sound is great - clear and crisp.
