This 3-stop, 100 x 150mm Kase MovieMate Filter 100x150mm 3-Stop Matte Boxfrom Kase MovieMate Filter 100x150mm 3-Stop Matte Boxis a filter with a slim 1.1mm thickness, made to fit the MovieMate Magnetic Matte Box. It requires the use of a magnetic filter frame, available separately. This ND8 filter provides a 3-stop reduction for finer exposure control.

Made of shockproof optical glass, this filter is multicoated and features an IR-cut coating for accurate light and color transmission. It also has a scratch-resistant and waterproof coating for use in harsh environments with easy cleaning. This filter requires the use of a 1.1mm MovieMate Magnetic Filter Frame, available separately.

A: Unfortunately, I do not think this would support 4x4 filter sizes as well since it is specifically designed for 4x5.65 filter sizes.

A: The Chrosziel Matte Box 456-20 is designed for use with 2 individual filter trays, allowing rotation of each individual tray. A double thick tray would not fit with this configuration.

Q: 6. Will these work with thinner filters than 4mm?

A: Yes, the SmallRig Filter Tray for Mini Matte Box (4 x 4") will house filters that are under 4mm.

Q: 7. It does not appear that a 4x4 polarizing filter can be rotated in this tray while within a SmallRig Mini Matte Box Pro. True?

A: The SmallRig Filter Tray for Mini Matte Box (4 x 4") does not rotate.

Q: 8. I just want to make sure this will work with a 134mm lens. The Zeiss 50mm makro is 134mm and that is what I want it to work with. Will it?

A: The MB-T03 will not accommodate the Zeiss Compact Prime CP.2 50mm/T2.1 Makro-Planar T, however our MB-T04 will work.

Q: 9. Will this mattebox work with bmpcc 6k and Rokinon cine ds lenses? 14.24.35.50.85.

A: Yes it will, however this matte box connects through 15mm rods. You will need 15mm rod support for your Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. [Solid ND] I originally bout the variable ND filter for my Tilta Mirage matte box. As with all variable NDs I've tried, there was some noticeble IR pollution (shadows and dark neutrals take on a red cast). I have since invested in 3 of the Vaxis IRND filters, and I'm very happy with the results. I also have 2 strengths of the Vaxis Black Mist filters. These filters are affordable, light weight and obviously a perfect fit for the Mirage matte box. I hope Vaxis continues to make these available in the event that I ever loose or break any of them. 5

[Solid ND] I use this filter with Tilta Mirage Matte Box. 4 stops is perfect for my needs when I shoot outdoors and helps me keep my lens wide open. I highly recommend this Vaxis filter. 5

[0.455 lb] I'm very happy with the Tilta Mirage matte box, largely due to the affordable filter options from Vaxis. The IRND filters are more neutral than the variable ND option, and also reduce IR pollution (red tone in shadows). At the affordable prices they are, there is little reason not to own a few IRND filters. 5

[0.455 lb] First time using the Kase magnetic filter system. Used this ND on a trip, and being able to instantly add/remove it from my lens was fantastic. Filter itself worked well without a noticeable color cast. Plan on adding other ND strengths to my kit. 5

[0.455 lb] Not much to say. These NDs do the job and they do it well. Virtually 0% color cast. Just wish Tilta would and Vaxi would just price this alittle bit higher and include a tray with it. It would be awesome to not shell out $40 everytime l. Because the reality is you need a tray for every filter. These filters are way to delicate to be taking them out on a shoot day. You need to be able to quickly swap these but Tilta has a home run system. It's just not the cheapest as each filter is like $52 and then the trays are $40. I would gladly pay $70 for a filter with a tray. Come on Tilta Vaxis. MAke a bundle I can buy 5

[0.455 lb] So far both my Vaxis IRND filters have been flawless, love the leather sleeve they come with. Just wish the darn thing things came with a tray as you need those trays. These filters are way to delicate to be swapping them during a shoot day 5
