The American DJ Dotz Matrix Wash / Blinder Fixture with COB (Chip On Board) LED technology allows for a powerful LED engine to be placed in a small amount of space. The result is a super-charged, high-output wash fixture with smooth color mixing, powered by sixteen 30W TRI COB LEDs. Dotz Matrix also has pixel mapping capabilities for enhanced visual effects and a powerful 430W with a 60° beam angle.

The fixture has many pro features such as 0 to 100% electronic dimming, strobe / pulse effect, built-in shows and colors macros, a 4-button DMX LCD display, PowerCon AC In / Out, 5 selectable dim curves for stage lighting, 4-pixel flipping options, and 5 DMX channel modes. The Dotz Matrix can run in its standalone mode from built-in programs, sound activation, or from a DMX controller.

A: The American DJ UB 12H Kit 4 x RGBAW+UV LED Linear Fixture does not have an input to connect an audio source. However, the light fixture does have a Sound Active mode that allows you to adjust the fixtures sound sensitivity level so it will automatically be able to respond to sounds/beats/tempos. The American DJ UB 12H Kit 4 x RGBAW+UV LED Linear Fixture only has one (1x) XLR 3-Pin DMX Input and one (1x) XLR 3-Pin DMX Output for connection options.

[60°] LEDs seem to be replacing everything lately but I think they often fall short at reproducing the same effects of the lights they are replacing. Fluorescent black lights are still the best and this one is great. And ADJ’s support is excellent. 5

[Electronic] I have used this system only 5 times so far but all 5 times I still am amazed at brightness and quality of the system! I was able to replace 4 of my old par38 four light systems with 2 T-par systems. I place this in the middle between our front monitors for our 5 piece band and shine each light on individual members of the band. Since the stand is black no one seems to mind that's in front of and just off center of the drummer so each member is visible completely. VERY bright and nicely saturated colors. Easy to use remote because I am a lead man and can change from static to sound activated for Hot sections of songs. I will also be using this system for my DJ / Karaoke shows. If you are running a large show or very large venues you probably would need 4 but for small to medium venues 2 parz system does the job nicely. I link them together with a 3 pin DMX cable and 1 remote runs the show! MY ONLY GRIPE IS THE STAND BAGS SUCK BAD, ZIPPER BROKE AND BAG RIPPED ON SECOND GIG! I would advise a heavy duty dual bag no more that 50 and less than 47 LIFE IS EASY! 5

[Manual] I'm an educator for a college campus that advises student organizations and make A/V equipment available to them. Easy setup is CRUCIAL for this. This product was out of the box and setup in my office within minutes and was INTUITIVE! I was able to get the sound activated pulsation to work with just the speakers from my computer!
