[1.16 lb] We are big Plex fans and have a Mac mini that we use as a server. Our client WAS the LG app that works on the LGwebOS platform. Unfortunately the LG version was EXTREMELY slow and laggy to navigate. It played back fine but navigation was a nightmare. We fixed that by getting this Apple TV which we primarily use with Plex and YouTube. Navigation is lightning fast and responsive and using Plex is now a joy. The eArc pass thru from our Denon receiver to the LG TV works perfectly. Initial setup of the Apple TV could have been a little smoother but once it's up and running, no complaints. Also REALLY like the remote so much better than the LG remote with its cludgy layout. The Apple Remote is a game changer. 5

The remote control is much better than the previous one, and it also has better compatibility with my smart TV. I'm very happy with my purchase and I recommend it. I am not a huge fan of streaming television, but I have cut the cable and this device is far superior to, and less irritating than the Google TV that came with my Sony TV.
