[Hook & Loop] This guy is kind of tricky to un-fold, specially the first time. I was actually kind of concerned I made a mistake purchasing this modifier. But after I put it together the first time and broke it down I started to understand the finesse of it all. It takes me about 45 seconds to unfold now vs the 30 minutes it took me the first time. After you get everything assembled you can just leave it on and it still fits in the bag (reflector, diffuser , velcro). It all folds up and fits in the provided bag neatly.

[Softbox] When used without diffusion the light quality from the white interior is far superior to silver interior collapsible boxes used with a deflection plate and no diffusion. The grid can't be used without diffusion or grid shadow lines will appear on the subject and or background in many cases. Both the 48 and 56 inch versions are very easy to open and close.

[Softbox] Great softbox. I was looking for something that was large yet wasn't quite as deep as other models. This seems to fit the needs of my small studio. I'd recommend getting a grid to help direct the light a little bit in a small space.

[Softbox] This is my favorite softbox! I use it more than 90% of the time. It assembles quickly. This is a replacement for my original I bought 1 1/2 years ago. I admit I am rough on my eqpt and it did last over 200 shoots getting bounced around in my eqpt bag to every shoot. It concentrates the light mostly on my subject without too much spillover on my background. I sometimes have other lights on my background and I do not want it washed out by my key light. This softbox is somewhere between my 3 foot and 4 foot octagon softboxes as far as size. My only fault with this softbox is that the plastic ends of the frame come off too easy and then the metal frame will eventually poke thru the fabric of the softbox. My fix for this one is to tape the plastic ends on the frame that go into the fabric so they don't come off.

[Softbox] very nice portable light tool. The only improvement is to include 4 center post holding the cap diffuser instead of just two.
