Q: 1. I have an original vintage Diana-F with the red window centered and at the bottom edge of the back of the camera. I just installed Kodak Portra 400, and I never saw any frame numbers in the red window. Help! Are the numbers not in the right place on Kodak film? Can I assume they are in the right place on Lomo film? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated so I can stop wasting money buying film that doesnt work. Thanks!

A: If you have the original (as opposed to the lomography remake), it might be a different story....and I am a complete newb & could be totally wrong here... but I think if you change it in the back from 12 to 16 (or vice versa) that may solve your problem? At least thats how I went about it. My pictures did turn out all wonky with overlapping frames however (but in a cool way that I loved and would attempt to do again haha). I did see the numbers though!

Q: 2. Does this fil work with any traditional film camera

A: Yes. Works well with any traditional 35mm camera.

Q: 3. Can I use this film for the Holga camera?

A: If your Holga is a 120 version then yes you can use it.

Q: 4. Does the 120 format of this film have numbers for counting frames on it's back paper?

A: Yes, the CineStill Film 800Tungsten C-41 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film) has the reference numbers for counting frames.

Q: 5. Hi when is the expiration date?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). When film is short-dated, the expiration month/year will be listed on our webpage. Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 6. what developer yields best results for this film? best results in terms of higher contrast, sharper image, infrared accuracy

A: I used Kodak D76

Q: 7. Hi! is this 35mm?

A: No, this is not 35mm film. The Lomography 120 Lomographic ISO 800 Color Negative Film (3 Rolls) is size 120 color negative print film designed for use in cameras that use the larger, unperforated 120 film.

Q: 8. What is the color temp of this film?

A: Kodak Portra film, including the Kodak Portra 800 120 Professional Color Print Film is daylight balanced. The color temperature for daylight is 5500 Kelvin.

Q: 9. May I know the expiration date

A: Our current batch of Kodak Professional Gold 200 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) has the following expiration date: February 2025.

Q: 10. What's the number of exposures per roll?

A: The number of exposures on a roll of Kodak Professional Gold 200 Color Negative Film (120 Roll Film, 5-Pack) will depend on what format camera you are using--a 120 camera will get 12 exposures per roll, a 645 camera will have 16 exposures per roll.

[0.08 lb] This is the best deal in medium format film in 2024. Good exposure latitude and reasonable amount of grain for the low price point.

[C-41] Gold 200 has become a go to when I’m shooting 120 in color and not because of the price. It produces negatives with fantastic color, latitude, and grain. I much prefer it to all of Kodak’s Portra line aside from 800.

[Daylight] The film I love to hate in 35mm is the film that I cannot live without in MF. Rich, vibrant colours, fantastic resolution (I dev this in ECN-2), And of course great value. I cannot keep enough of this in my fridge.

[0.08 lb] This might not be for everyone, but I had a blast experimenting with dubble film's Solar pre-exposed film. You won't have any idea how it looks until it's developed, and that's part of the fun. Very experimental and colorful, exactly what I was looking for. Every place that develops film will develop this, too.
