[Security Lock] 2U and small depth is perfect

[1x 60 mm] I started out with this before I quickly realized I was going to go all out for a home lab and got a 16U with casters. I currently have this one sitting on top of the 16U and it will go to use at some point. I put rubber feet on it and it's a solid, sturdy unit.

[ATX, Micro-ATX] I'm thrilled with this case. All metal construction, the colors on the front panels look great, and the internals are all well made, precisely machined, and have rolled edges to avoid any finger slices. I could not be happier with this purchase.

[Yes] Everything I need to put my Venue rack RF scanner. antennas in the closing lids and paddle in the big top pocket with the BNC cables and connectors. Its portable with the strap. its perfect for my unit. Looks professional and will for sure protect my scanner...it will be easier to carry it on a plane now. ] Perfect for my video production audio recording. Holds an interface (Focusrite 18i20 3rd gen, ART S8 splitter, 1'connecting cables and 10' snake for FOH). Enough room behind interface and splitter to coil up the ten foot snake (8, ten foot XLR cables connected to direct out for PA mixer). Only weak point is the optional provided shoulder strap. Week. Cuts into shoulder. I don't use it. Added a little break down rolling dolly.

[ATX] I bought this case to move an existing NAS from an ITX tower into a rack mountable case. I had (5) 3.5 drives to mount. I found a (3) 3.5 to (2) 5.25 bay adapter with matching hexagon venting (the black isn't a perfect match, but good enough for a rack) and was able to add another 80mm fan. I thought I would only be able to fit one drive on top of each of the 3.5 cages making this adapter necessary. With an ITX board I was able to fit two drives in each of the 3.5 bays. The drive bay adapter brings the total capacity up to (7) 3.5 drives which seems insane for a short depth 2U case.


I already had a SFX power supply with an SFX to ATX adapter which allowed for some extra room. A 24-pin extension was necessary to reach the motherboard. I don't think this would be an issue with a standard ATX power supply.

It definitely feels like a cheap case. For the price I'm not complaining at all. My only gripe is I wasn't able to find rails that were compatible with my shorter depth rack (Tripp Lite SWR15US). I overcame this by mounting a shelf on the rear posts of my rack to support the back of the case which makes getting this in and out of the rack much easier.

Overall a great case. I couldn't find anything else able to support (5) 3.5 drives in a short depth 2U chassis for even double the price.

[3RU] This case is deeper than other options. It has a mid-case fan array, plenty of space to accommodate hot swap drive cages without crowding the power supply or motherboard and an adjustable expansion card support system. It fits my ATX MSI motherboard perfectly. The washable front door filters work great to keep dust out. Standard 26 rail kits fit well. Very happy and plan on using this case forever.

[Security Lock] Sturdy Wallmount rack that doesn't wobble. The adjustable depth is great so there's room for power cords. It even has hinges to swing out patch panels for easy wiring. I've used dozens of these, and haven't found anything else that even comes close.
