White provides a neutral soft reflection, useful for fill light

A: The diffusion material would be most similar to the Rosco Roscolux #111 Filter - Tough Rolux - 20x24 Sheet B&H # RO111S.

Q: 5. How does this hold the reflector? I don't see any clamps in the photo.

A: The holder has two 'wings' that you can see in the photo - one at the top and the other at the bottom. Using your fingers, simply grab these two wings and pull them to the center post. This opens up the 'clamp' into which you insert the rim of the reflector -- then let go of the wings with your finger and boom - a nice tight grip on the reflector. I have the holder mounted on a tripod that I had been using for a strobe. It works very well - sturdy.

Q: 6. Will this fit speedotron 102 and 202 heads?

A: Yes this will work with Blackline 102 and 202 heads.

Q: 7. Will this be compatible with Alien bee?

A: Yes it will work with Alien Bees, just have to buy the Kacey AB/WL Mount Adapter ($21). I have this beauty dish and I use it with my Einstein.

A: Yes, the Impact Collapsible Reflector Holder can also be used to hold a collapsible background.

Q: 9. Wiil this be compatible with photogenic monolighth?

A: Unfortunately, the beauty dish is not compatible with Photogenic monolights.

[Circle] So it should be obvious but when opening it will springs open real quick. I didn't do that and ended up scraping up the bridge of my nose... moving past that it's very compact when not in use and works really well. Also a great toddler distraction, I put it on a table and the little guy spent a good half hour running around with it 5

[Circle] I have used the diffuser and the gold reflector so far with good results. The four reflector options are handy and everything fits snugly in the carrying case. The reflectors are zippered over the diffuser frame. The setup seems sturdy enough - I exercise the usual amount of caution when zipping and unzipping. It should stand up to individual use. And a great price! 5

[Circle] Well constructed, very versatile. Outer sleeve black, white, gold, and silver for whatever reflector needs you have, and the middle is a diffuser. Great size for taking out and about and comes with a nylon zipper pouch for easy compact carrying when you're on the go. Lightweight. 5

[Circle] Great lighting/diffusing modifier for those trips when you just can't take strobes due to weight or limited space. Works the same as every other 5:1 reflector, … just smaller, …. but large enough for the occasional portrait or highlights or diffusion you need for that detail shot. 5
