The black D Storm Series 4 RU Compact Stylish Rackmountable Chassis from iStarUSA offers maximum reliability and performance for your server or cluster configuration. It supports hot-swappable storage capability by combining the chassis with the BPU or T Series HDD cages (sold separately). It also supports up to 7 add-on cards and a total storage capacity of up to 5 storage drives for RAID configuration. The aluminum body (sold separately) reduces the total chassis weight and also provides enhanced thermal cooling solution.

A: You would mount the CPU fan to the motherboard that you put in the iStarUSA D Storm Series D-300 3U Compact Stylish Rackmount Chassis (Black).

Q: 9. What is the maximum size expansion card that can go inside this unit? I needing to see what kind of gpu I could fit in this so I know if this unit would work for my needs.

A: This will use a standard size GPU, The maximum size expansion card will depend in what motherboard you chose

[7x Low-Profile] I ordered this rack mount shelf through B&H. When it arrived the quality was fine and it does what I expected. Now when it was ordered, the B&H site said it would ship in 7-14 days. I ordered this shelf on a Tuesday and on Thursday it arrived on my doorstep. 2 days! I don't know if everybody gets this type of customer service but for me if I need another rack mount shelf I will order through B&H from the same company. 5

[ATX, Micro-ATX] I did an AMD 5600 build at work and liked it so much I had to do it at home with my 7700x. You can only get 4x 3.5 HDD drives with an mATX board so if you want 7 then plan on using ITX. I am putting this at the top of my Echogear U20 because it is the perfect depth for the top slots that don't let the chassis slide out the back since there are support brackets at the back of the top slots. Everything seems to fit together perfectly, no complaints. Most compact function system I own here or in the office 5

[4RU] Good quality construction with heavy-duty steel. It is simple to mount on a wall but didn't come with lag bolts to mount into studs. 5
